No. You can set how your captain is chosen if your normal one doesn't work - either by form or value. So say I made Xisco captain (knowing he'll not play) and Bale gets 20 points that day. Bale has better form so he's automatically made captain? Just trying to get my head around this.

I admit I should go to far more games. But nowadays, the atmosphere can be pretty embarassing as it feels like a library at times. There'll be days like Sunderland where the atmosphere is electric, but they're too few and far between. I'd enjoy games a lot more if there was more noise and hence would go back more often. Paying £25 to sit amongst people that enjoy misery so much, they're actively waiting for a mistake doesn't appeal to me.

So if your captain doesn't play, it automatically switches to the highest scoring player that weekend? I have an idea......

looking at the scoreboard on telly......it just doesnt look right, man. i hope chelsea dont win the league now, because as champions of this country that was absolutely diabolical. and unforgivable.

no offence, but this has nothing to do with sunderland because any team in the WORLD could've won this match. this is all about chelsea's dramatic collapse. decimated by injuries, in poor form, a subs bench resembling a school trip......they never looked bothered. if they cared, they'd have won this. when you take off malouda after 55 minutes, theres something seriously wrong there.

He's injured for us as well though! I agree with the sentiment but he'll surely miss Bolton and probably Chelsea now, I reckon. If he was fine last night and now he's suddenly injured, it must be precautionary thing, like Man Utd do all the time. If so, the point still stands because he might be OK enough to play, but we can't risk that. We come first.

Even though I was interested in England for the first time in years, this club comes first. So yeah its a shame for him, but we need him. His time will come.

Carroll's probably about the 10th best player in that squad! Its a very weird collection of players. Smalling, Henderson, Gibbs and Bothroyd are very strange decisions, but I understand why Capello did it. Well done Andy, I think he'll start. He's the best striker in the squad.
