    Shola Ameobi

the cult continues. love the guy! he has the best smile in football.
  3. at the big crossroads between blackett street and percy street, we saw the michael jackson thriller guy moonwalk into the centre of the road and start directing traffic. was pretty funny!
  4. Dodgy start but soon returned to immenseness. We've really picked up a superstar. Then again, I love everybody today. Everything, everybody......you're all mint!

    Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp's column http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/sunsport_columnists/3203522/Harry-Redknapp-has-been-bowled-over-by-Rafael-van-der-Vaart.html Firstly, I don't think the saggy faced twat could pat himself on his back any louder at the beginning. Secondly, he just won't stop banging on about Joe Cole. And finally, for a manager that detests his 'wheeler-dealer' tag, he doesn't do himself any favours with his top 3 signings ever.
  7. i cant believe im reading that thread, man. its so painful but its hard to look away. they're determined that we think we're everyones 2nd favourite team, which is nonsense. they've formed a stereotype of 'the geordie' and stick religiously to it. in fact, this often seen view of 'the geordie' is the biggest myth in football.
  8. One of my favourite memories was the pre-match atmosphere in Sam Jacks before the 2-1 defeat two years ago. They do a great job of whipping you into a frenzy and the place was crazy by kick off. I look forward to the same this Sunday. Only attended one in person though and that was the 3-2 Shola Show.
  9. Its very wishful. I don't see why the London Ambulance Service would be involved here.....

    Sunderland...

Message to those visiting from RTG: Maybe its time to acutally start supporting your own club. Don't relate everything to Newcastle, don't analyse every obscure detail about Newcastle and don't make every 2nd thread about Newcastle. Its pathetic and embarassing, to be honest. Stop this obsession and maybe one day you'll stop being this insignificant club that nobody cares about. You're like the dog humping the owners leg....its annoying and you come out of it looking very stupid indeed. You have a small club mentality and you keep feeding it with the pointless, obsessive drivel that pollutes your forum every day. If you stop looking over the fence all the time, maybe you'll learn to love your own garden. One day. EDIT: and yes, i've been drinking
  11. Man steps on the moon....9/11.....Diana's death.....The King is Dead.....Kanye West at the VMAs. These are all moments that transcend time. Moments that change the world forever. Where were you? Where were you? This Sunday, LIVE ON SKY SPORTS we'll bear witness to another of these iconic moments. A moment you can look back on and say "I was there, I saw it on Sky Sports - in 3D". The earth stands still as Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Europe and even Antartica all fix their eyes on one 52,000 seated, cantilever roofed cathedral. Your grandkids will talk about this day; your great grandkids will talk about this day; your great great grandkids will talk about this day forever and ever and ever.....the day that NEWCASTLE faced SUNDERLAND. Ford Super Duper Apocalyptic Thunder and Lightning Sunday. LIIIIIIIVE!!!
  12. Can't wait to see who'll make themself a hero. I want it to be Tiote, Jonas or Enrique.
  13. But we have played Man U, Aston Villa, City and Everton. which i believe is an easier four than the other. add in those easy 3 home games too, and we should really have more points than we do.

Funny that you named four African players I personally love dancing after the goals. It's is one of the marvelous things in football, and something unique. What I cannot stand is players who reveal stupid messages on their undershirt after they have scored. It's fine if someone has died or there is some great political cause, but I do not care about the birthing of your children or the making of your wife.
  15. the table does lie a little bit. yeah we're 9th, but we've played half of the teams in the league yet still not arsenal, chelsea, liverpool or spurs. so we've definitely had easy-ish fixtures so far and been far from convincing. not using that as an argument to sack hughton though because, as we've already said, that shouldn't even be discussed yet. its lunacy.

Jonas? Aye, he can fuck off n all. The lush bastard. If players did a spot of ballroom dancing that'd be quite funny so that I'd accept. Like that Icelandic team did? I'd post the video but its got match footage....
  17. to be honest, it was a lose-lose situation because of the way the media can spin anything into everything.
  18. Yeah but I'm lazy and can't be bothered to name more And if nothing else, Ronaldo is memorable....
  19. Yeah I'm starting to doubt Lovenkrands now. Ronaldo was right, he just can't do it in the Premiership. Shame, because he seems really canny.
  20. We can move S Taylor into CB, or put Perch there. Meanwhile R Taylor can play in a few positions. Basically, the only other defender is Kadar and I thought Hughton would prefer Perchy.
  21. Why the hell is he 'under pressure' anyway? It makes me sick how Sky are plucking rumours out of thin air and creating a non-existant bad feeling. We're happy with Hughton, theres no discontent and he's doing a decent job. It makes - even in Mike Ashley's world - absolutely no sense to sack him now. It just shows that if you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it.
  22. I could put my house on a 1-1 draw. Obviously I wont.....but I could! Its nailed on. Malbranque to put them 1 up, then Ameobi equalises in the 2nd half. Krul S Taylor - Williamson - Coloccini - Enrique Barton - Nolan - Tiote - Jonas Carroll - Ameobi Bench: Soderberg, Simpson, Perch, R Taylor, Routledge, Guthrie, Ranger I hate derby day so much, HATE HATE HATE it. Bricking it already.
  23. very weird score. theres certainly nothing to be disheartened by...we did alright. as far as 4-0s go, that was encouraging.
  24. Can you not tell by the north-eastern surname? ....btw yes, i think he does support them
