Assuming Ben Arfa signs, we really don't need Keane. In fact, I'd be concerned about having too many players (if thats possible). Not doing his obvious quality, but Carroll and Keane would be upfront, Routledge, Jonas and Ben Arfa in midfield and hence only one from Barton/Tiote/Nolan/Guthrie/Gosling/Smith/Vuckic......which is outrageous. He's really good, but totally unnecessary and I'd be wary of disrupting the squad with too many signings. Ben Arfa should be the last, unless S Taylor leaves.

I think Spurs would've expected to lose to Pot 1 and defeat Pot 4, so then it comes down to Pot 2. Considering Real Madrid, Roma, Valencia and Benfica were there, I think they'd be relieved it was Werder Bremen. The group isn't easy but in their situation it was never going to be.

to be honest if we get ben arfa, i don't see where keane would fit in. not disputing the quality he'd bring, but carroll and keane up front and a midfield of routledge, ben arfa, jonas and one out of barton/guthrie/tiote/smith/nolan/gosling is insane. and his wages how good is boyata, then?
