  1. Everton linked with Nedum Onuoha for £3.75m on 30k per week. That fits within our budget and he's exactly what we need. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/800982/EVERTON-READY-FOUR-YEAR-DEAL-FOR-ONUOHA.html Unfortunately, its the News of the World, so obviously this won't be true.
  2. Its great to finally see a player with a personality
  3. 4 Sunderland, 5 Newcastle, 1 Hartlepool and 1 half-Boro. Nice

This. We could never keep the player we want him to be.
  5. This site has been namedropped by Simon 'cunt' Bird: simonbirdmirror Re #nufc strip looks lovely but @rammlet says No it's not - mockup made by M4TT on Newcastle Online
  6. released in july, but revealed beforehand?

    José Mourinho

i wonder what the world would've been like had costinha not scored at old trafford....
  8. Surely winning it with Porto was a greater achievement? I'd have thought so too. Maybe it was the heat of the moment.
  9. According to Marcotti's twitter, Mourinho has told Sky Italia that the Spanish tax police tried to take Eto'o away for questioning before the game. He also called this the greatest achievement of his career.
  10. Too obvious? http://i.thisislondon.co.uk/i/pix/2008/10/harry-redknapp-new-415x275.jpg Theres some serious sagging going on there....
  11. where are the ITKs when we actually need one? typical
  12. I was cheering on Barcelona again tonight, but its win-win because of Mourinho. Despite the lack of chances or action, I found it morbidly fascinating. Busquets' play acting was shocking, but expected - as was the time wasting. For all the possession and territorial advantages, I was actually surprised they scored one because despite the pretty football, Inter were completely comfortable and begrudgingly, the best team (over the two legs) won. That goal should have stood though....what a thoroughly appalling referee. Who'd have thought an Inter-Bayern final? haha PS/ The Chivu-Pandev incident was definitely planned all along, the crafty bastard! I think I'm going to name my first child Jose (after Enrique and Mourinho) :smitten:

    José Mourinho

Absolutely adore the bloke. I always have, even when he first went to Chelsea. His mindgames are amazing, his ego is incredible and his personality as a whole is fascinating. Not a bad manager as well haha..... 'The Special One' doesn't quite cut it, I'd say 'The Perfect One' :smitten: (Still wanted Barcelona to win tonight, though)

  15. Apparantly after their match against Xerez, the players were instructed to wear shirts talking about "leaving their skin on the pitch" (as Canuck said) to build up the atmosphere for tonight. The players looked uncomfortable and overall it seems a bit naff. But they're trying to graduate from the 'Sky Sports school of mega-hype'..... I'm sure VI knows more of it
  16. Hughtons already said that Krul is the only youngster who will play a role in a QPR game. Ah thats a shame. Its a wasted opportunity.
  17. Krul R Taylor Williamson Coloccini Kadar Routledge Smith Vuckic Barton Nolan Carroll BENCH: Harper, S Taylor, Simpson, Pancrate, Guthrie, Best, Ameobi Nolan and Carroll only there because they're going for top scorer. I think its important Vuckic and Kadar get games too. Great news about Krul playing. May as well play some of the fringe/rotation players.... A boring, pointless 0-0 EDIT: by the way dave, that sig is wonderful and not irritating in the slightest......
  18. .co.uk says Jonas has gone back to Argentina for a break, so it seems like Hughton isn't too bothered about the QPR match. if thats so, vuckic really should get 90 minutes.
  19. Oliver Kay from The Times says this in his webchat today: "No truth in the rumours about his personal life. I do wish the people responsible for the rumours would get a life. Can't rule out a transfer abroad, but I would say that, whatever his frustrations this season, my feeling at the moment (stress "at the moment") is that he'll be a Liverpool player next season. "

"That email I just got is spot on - why should I accept a puny cock, why I can take some medicine and turn it into a mighty fuck rocket??"
  21. Out of those clubs, choosing Liverpool is strange. And that price is a bargain. Can't help but feel theres another promising career wasted.
  22. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1269209/The-great-West-Ham-clear-Whos-grabs-cost-big-summer-sale.html Pure guesswork, but we've not been suggested as potential suitors for any of them. I'd take Noble, Diamanti, Collison or Faubert.
