  1. Birmingham fans won't have a bad word for him. Swansea fans won't have a good one.
  2. and he's bringing in ex-Liverpool player Mike Marsh as part of his team.
  3. To follow in the great tradition of appointing a manager and everyone asking WHO?? It looks like Steve Cooper will be appointed manager. His dad was a referee and infamous with Swansea fans for dodgy decisions against us, his dad is a big Cardiff fan. Be great if his Grandad was Tommy, he'd get us promoted "Just like that"
  4. Probably good news for us Likely bottom 5 again for them next season. I'm absolutely gutted, Potter showed every bit as a manager who could build us up and drive us back to the Premier League. Another fantastic showing from our disasterous hedge funded American (non) investors. Anyone thinking Brighton will be in trouble with this appointment I believe you will be seriously disappointed. Really? Any particular reasons why you think that Seems another Jokanovic type I’ll be interested to see how he does in the Premier League though. Sorry not responding straight away, I updated my email address and ended up being locked out of my account for a few days. Why. He came to us after our relegation, had almost the entire squad ripped away. Only Naughton, Van Der Hoorn, Olsson, Roberts, Montero, Fer and Bony available from last season to him. Van Der Hoorn and Roberts were back-up last season. He was allowed to sign a few young players like Celina, McKay, Dhanda and Asoro plus Cameron Carter Vickers on loan. The rest of the team were U-23 players from last year. Routledge and Dyer became available later when they voluntarily removed aspects of their contracts. We also later got Declan John. Olsson, Fer, Montero and Bony were almost always injured and Montero and Bony were loaned out as soon as they were fit. With the bones left him he managed to get us close to promotion. Had we a decent keeper we may have made it up even, the amount of goals conceeded due to Nordfelt's line standing was rediculous. We played good football most of the time and the players loved playing for him. He has a Masters degree in leadership and emotional intelligence. In other words he's very good at getting the best out of the players available to him. The reason he has left no doubt is the string of broken promises by our hedge fund owners who's only committment is getting as much profit for themselves before they no doubt will sell the shell of a club they will have left. Having moved up a number of U-23 players who have proven the worth of catagory one status, the owners will sell any of the players they can make money on. there is no plan to develop these players only their bank accounts. I think Potter will do extremely well with backing.

  6. He is, our American owners if watching this would have dollar signs in their eyes, looks like Huw made them a bit more money.
  7. I don't need to tell you guys about crap owners, you have your own problems there.
  8. He's played well when he's had game time, one of our U-23 promotions Joe Rodon has generally kept him out but with Joe getting injured now, CV will get extended play time. Amazing from last year's centre backs, our third choice is now first choice and two youngsters vying for the second spot.
  9. Hope you guys are happy with your window, we had fun in ours and upset a few clubs, Leeds in particular. They thought they bought Dan James, he traveled to Leeds, passed a medical, filmed holding the shirt, then sat around for 5 hours until 11pm when Swansea called it off lol. Almost same story with Leroy Fer to Villa, except we offloaded Tom Carroll on then at the last minute. No-one has a clue what happened, internal politics at the club? We did also get rid of Bony and Montero. Last one out turns off the lights.
  10. Here's wishing you good luck and hope you take all the points
  11. They’re a Welsh team in the English league. It’s a horrific anomaly. Either go full UK or stick to your own national leagues. If you have seperate FAs and national teams, you shouldn’t interbreed in your leagues. If Swansea qualified for Europe they’d not take one if the Welsh spots. It’s all anarchy. ANARCHY! The Welsh teams entered the English league after being invited by the FA to join almost 100 years ago. We cannot take a Welsh place in any European competition, we did many years ago but that was stopped.
  12. Everton been getting chances in counter attacks though, we've left it open a few times.
  13. It had to come we've been at them from the start. Lack of confidence in front of goal can be the only explanation that we haven's score 3 or 4
  14. Everton leading against the run of play, we've been playing very well and been the best team so far.

No way you guys are going down now, if we can muster a win away against West Brom next week that will see us virtually safe.
  16. Abysmal decision by the ref, extremely harsh I should add the reason it was abysmal, BOTH players went in dangerously, BOTH players caught the other, BOTH players were in pain, ONE player sent off. Fuming here Nah, Ayew went in harder, Hogg sorta pulled out. erm... no he didn't. If you want to see it go to the Swansea site, Hogg did not pull out, full force stamp

  19. Carvahal subs are sublime, Ayew for Olsson, attacker for defender followed by Abraham for Dyer, so 3 strikers on the pitch
  20. They keep saying the Ayew's are the 4th brothers to play at the same time in the Premiership, the Neville's, DeSilva's and Toure's. Didn't the Ameobi's ever both play for Newcastle?
  21. Quite scrappy yes, both have had chances but don't think a shot on target yet.
  22. Someone pointed out we had more shots on target 1st half than we did the entire season when Clement was manager.
