  1. Thankfully, I disagree. Always happy to see people put us down. We are lacking players, we had a weak bench today as seen by the subs, the players who went off made the difference and left us open to the quick attacks. As long as supporters of other team say we're rubbish and their managers believe, we'll do fine.
  2. The 3 at the back was working, taking off one of three to chase the game killed us really.
  3. We did well until the last minute, oops. We've not played too bad most game as well. If we get a couple of decent players in before the window shuts I think we'll do OK.
  4. I can only think of Britton, Siggy and Carroll in recent years. Two of them was after loan spells. The papers link us to ex-players all the time, or players linked in the past As I said, lazy journalism.
  5. Most talk has been on 3 players, Chadli, Bony and Allen. Seems more lazy journalism to me. Often an unexpected player suddenly signs. Apparently the Siggy fee was agreed over 2 weeks ago, the method of payment was what hung up the transfer. You'd have thought we had signings lined up ready.
  6. What's worrying for us is the weak bench, the Siggy farce lasted to long, held up our transfer dealings
  7. Always riles me when we don't have someone on the line at corners, would have cleared that if we had.
  8. He dived for a penalty last year, no-one touched him as clearly shown on replays, Oscar material
  9. They can have Siggy for 50
  10. Swansea beating Sampdoria 4-0, the second was one of the best own goals ever, at least 30 yards out back pass to keeper.
  11. Watching the Swansea game live on S4C (think its streamed legally in the UK). Abraham looking like he'll be a handful
  12. Swansea apparently looking towards life after Siggy and bidding 25 mill for Jonathan Viera.
  13. Swansea game in the States being streamed free. Link here if anyone interested, not an illegal one I should add. https://www.philadelphiaunion.com/post/a/2017/07/14/watch-live-union-vs-swansea-city-afc
  14. We're not supposed to be able to. We got relegated at the worst possible time. Yep. The system is very clearly stacked in favor of a select few teams. Time for a transfer fee cap across UEFA. I agree with that, would love to see not only a transfer cap but a squad size cap, including how many youth players to stop the top elite hoovering up all the talent and loaning them out, that or a maximum number of players any team can loan out, say 2. that will put a lot of young players off joining them.
  15. As a Swansea fan it feels good to see our owners being firm for a change, over the years its been depressing seeing the money going for players who are similar level to our best players and then seeing teams coming in for a cut price deal from us.
  16. Most reports say it is a loan move? It is, but appallingly no loan fee. In other news Roque Mesa in Swansea having his medical, his brother tweeting photo's of himself with Llorente and Makelele. Amat off to Betis, another loan deal it looks like. and of course, ignore all rumours, Siggy's going nowhere.
  17. Nothing solid happening at Swansea yet, although we apparently will be signing Abraham from Chelsea on loan, as you guys know, and trying to sign Holger Badstuber from Bayern Munich on a free.

  19. haha, aye and all other team fans think Newcastle fans were mad for wanting to sack Pardew. Here's the response by Swansea fans when asked an opinion on Monk. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/forum/195714/page:1 Well loved you see Fair enough. From the outside it seemed a harsh decision at the the time like, as it seemed with Guidolin (?) Guidolin I can agree with, most fans were shocked, we lost too many games, the vast majority against teams we would be expected to lose against and other seasons had taken points from. This year we lost them all and it gave the new board the excuse to bring their man in. Although we were losing, we never looked outclassed, we lost by the odd goal in close games, we looked like we could pull out when we had a run against like sized teams. But they sacked Guidolin before they started and then we suddenly looked shocking under Bradley, not only losing but shipping goals for fun, had Guidolin stayed I'm sure we would have pulled to mid table by Christmas. Thank god they saw their mistake and changed to Clement, after Christmas we all thought we were doomed.

  21. Yes 2-1 Swansea, up to 15th
  22. I'm so glad Palace beat Hull last week, imagine of it was a three way fight for the last relegation spot this week and Palace play away to Man Utd youth/reserve team. Disgusting that this is allowed to happen.
