Struggle to see why days like today are totally blamed on Hughton. The fact of the matter is; too many of our players aren't fucking good. You can bleat on about tactics all you want but if the 11 men you put on the field are inferior to the opposition, there's very little you can do about it.

The point is that there wasnt a decent side out there. Too many players who are simply sub standard. A side containing Guthrie, Smith, Routledge, Jonas, Lovenkrands, Simpson and Shola is not decent. They are not decent players. You could argue that Routledge, Campbell and Taylor are half decent but the fact of the matter is our side has far too many passengers.

Certainly more productive than Guthrie.
