Definitely agree with this. The bottom 3 this season have been way way poorer that the rest of the league. In the summer no doubt West Ham and Wigan will spend money, Birmingham have had a class season, Stoke are ever improving. Next season will be very very tough at the bottom.

I think we might divulge into the Spanish market this year, no idea why, just a little feeling of mine. We've got 3 Spanish speaking players who have been instrumental this season, so language wouldn't really be too much of a barrier.

I got quite excited over Pattison when he first broke into the team. He looked quite good and I remember him running the show and setting up 2 against West Brom. He seemed to suddenly turn shit though.

Whats the deal with Vanden Borre? he was the next big thing not too long ago, havent seen anything of him this season. Anyone know how he was playing? Whenever I've seen him he's played right wing for Pompey and been seemingly unimpressive. I Dont think he had that much potential anyway, it was a case of being a little over hyped.

And to think they just sort of stumbled across this run. I remember in the group stages seeing the likes of Riise, Greening, Kamara, etc all playing.
