The bottom 3 this year have been considerably worse than the rest of the league. By quite a long shot tbh.

We're so incredibly bitter about Hull, I'd much rather have seen Wigan go down tbh.

Ryan Taylor looking absolutely delighted as usual

You do realise who they're playing don't you?

Same, a young lad, brought in for 5M caught up in politics/not being allowed to play because of extra fee's, none of which has really been his fault.

Agreed. He simply doesn't have the attributes of a good centre midfielder. Not a great passing range, not a great tackler, positional sense isn't the best, poor disciplinary record, doesn't make up for his failings in goals i.e Nolan. Nothing about him really. Sure he can run around like a headless chicken all day and put in some hard graft but that alone just isnt good enough for the Premier league. He's a poor mans Robbie Savage. He's always been a tad over rated imo, not especially good at holding the ball up and didn't really score that many goals, that horrific injury set him back loads like, dont think he's ever truly recovered from it.

Andy Carroll Andy Carroll Andy Carroll is a geordie to be scared of Andy Carroll And repeat.... Short and simple. But probably shit.

 That pictures class, the look on the stewards face as if picking up a 15 stone lad and moving him is a routine occurrence.

The last of the failed generation that saw us go from a potential champions league regulars, to mid table mediocrity under Souness. Brought in to replace Gary Speed, a good signing on paper, however it turned out to be one of SBR's poorer signings. He had a really good season in 06/07 where i think he won the clubs player of the year, but other than that, a major disappointment on the whole.

That article is hilarious, it's like it's been written by some random in a pub, who talks utter crap, to everyone. Even when he tries to be positive i.e saying Nicky Butt is good in the Championship or Jonas is so good he'll be off in the summer, he's still wrong. I dont know if anyone has ever been more wrong in their entire life. The level of wrongness, in just about every point he makes is astounding.

This. Been saying this for the past few seasons, if he can get back to his form at city, which saw him win a place in the England squad (only for him to lose it after criticize Gerrard et al.) Then he will be a vital cog in our side, unfortunately, we've only seen glimpses of his former self, though he's still quite youngish, I have faith that he can rediscover his form!

Just seems like 2 minutes ago we were talking about what we were going to miss about the Premiership. :colo: As for next year, I'll look forward to qualifying for the champions league with the last kick of the season as we send the mackems down after beating them on their own turf thanks to a Jose Enrique Liam O'Brianeque freekick.

Out of contract in the summer.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Doctor Zaius replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Sylvan ebanks-blake was superb all season in a lesser team, your argument has no substance. Carroll's not ready to be our main man. It works both ways though, look at Kenwyne Jones, plays in a similar fashion to Andy Carroll and in the championship he scored less goals and was a couple of years older. He's looked decent in the premier league, mind not worth the 20M the papers were touting him for a move to spurs for. -
I'm not surprised a lot of toon fans hate Inter. We've played both teams twice and there's only one stadium we had flares and piss thrown at us.
-
Inferiority complex. Simple as. Years in our shadows has simply taken its tole.

Only out until October, he'll not miss much really.
