The mutants are looking good here. Think we might have all 3 NE teams in the PL again.
-
Good player too. Fuck knows why Slot doesn't fancy him
-
He'll be miraculously fit for the world cup no doubt. Frankly, he's been fucking shit this season but I will concede he is a good bit limited player. For the most part, he's very good defensively (if you ignore him being at fault for multiple goals since he returned from his latest frequent injury spell). The problem is that he's not very good going forward and he won't improve that aspect of his game I don't think. He's in the Aaron Wan Bissaka mould of being good one on one defensively, but not having enough about him for the top teams imo. Albeit he is a better player than AWB.

Wood in a Newcastle shirt that. Was onside too
-
Presume it was a clause where they had to buy after being promoted as he's scored two league goals all season
-
They've taken 7 points from the last 9 and it should have really been 9/9. Leeds have nothing to play for, I don't think they'll roll over but Spurs will beat them. Dreams over I'm afraid.
-
Spurs do look a lot better like. Well organised, controlling possession and pressing well. Think they'll stay up unfortunately.
-
Sancho is fucking atrocious like
-
I have no idea how Villa are 5th like. They're fucking shite every time I watch them.
-
I can see that there could be some debate whether its a pen or not. VAR should absolutely not be over turning that, it's not a clear and obvious error in a million years like. I reckon if Simeone was in the PL I'd absolutely despise him like.
-
How is that not a pen? There's clear contact and he doesn't touch the ball. Certainly enough to knock a player off balance running at pace. I don't want Arsenal to win as much as anyone but id be absolutely spitting feathers if that was over turned against us in a CL semi final
-
It's a pen all day long
-
Great chance that
-
I agree. They've been absolutely shite. For a club like Spurs to go down though, the stars do need to align and that seems to be happening.
-
Spurs have had some horrendous luck with injuries like. Simons has been absolutely woeful for most of the season, but he's looked a little better recently be all accounts, then this happens
-
He's had a worse season than I can ever remember a keeper having for us. First game back and he once again charges out of his goal and nearly gets sent off.
-
Reckon he's actually injured then? Doubtful
-
Ibe and Afobe the only real big misses there. Solanke was the right player at the wrong time, went on to be great for them but was woeful under Howe. Ake the only real big success. Mixed bag really. Before this summer we'd barely missed in terms of transfers.

First weekday night in a while I've had a few hours to myself to chill out and I've wasted it by watching a 0-0 between West Ham and Palace ffs

Arsenal vs. Newcastle United: 25/04/26 @ 17:30 (Sky Sports)

Doctor Newcastle will see you now -
Might as well give him a few games to see if we can get something out of him like. He's been woeful but he's barely played really. Can only assume the little cunt is fucking woeful in training
-
He's probably our best attacker, but that doesnt say much really. He's a good player, but not a great player. Pretty much plays for himself, his stats look far better than his regular performances. How long did he go without a PL goal or assist from open play? His pace and trickery causes problem and hes capable of being unplayable on his day, but those days are few and far between really. I dont have a problem with him wanting to leave as long as he doesnt go on like the rat, part and parcel really. I'd be happy enough to see the back of him for a good fee. Given we paid £40m for him, we should be looking at 65/70m+. Hopefully some more stat padding at the World Cup against shite like Panama and Ghana. Its all good and well saying we'll take the money btw, but whats the point if we're going to waste it on absolute rubbish like Wissa or Elanga. Hope the club are planning for his exit and know where they want to reinvest the money.

It's pretty impossible to make progress with PSR, so it wouldn't suprise me if PIF don't see this going anywhere. Don't think we'd ever get to the top regardless of how much they invested because the rules are designed to stop that happening.
