Leeds play Wolves and Forest play Burnley next weekend. A Brighton win and them two could be 6 points clear. West Ham are 10th in the 2026 table. Thought Spurs would get the new manager bounce this weekend. They're in serious bother. Having said that, I think they'll put a run together and stay up by the skin of their teeth. They've got Leeds and Wolves still to play. A Chelsea side in freefall, a Villa side who have been nearly as bad as us recently and Everton who might well have nothing to play for on the last day. Can't buy a win at the minute though.

He's been atrocious all season. It's just a year too far for him. He's 31 now, about the age most wingers drop off. There aren't many wingers in the Premier League older than him and still producing. I thought Pochettino was all but a done deal for the summer regardless of what division they were in. Think I'd actually rather have Pochettino and do a year in the Championship than De Zerbi.

Redknapp has won 3 out of his last 5 as Soccer Aid manager in all fairness. I do agree that it should be a relatively easy job to keep them up like. At Home to Leeds in a few weeks will be massive. Still Sunderland and Wolves to play too. Think they'll stay up whoever they get.

Effective in patches sums him up. He has spells in games where he looks good, he has runs of games when he looks good. He also has plenty where he produces nothing. That's the difference between a decent player and a very good player. He's just too inconsistent. Two league goals since November and not a single assist all season. Lucky to get in an inflated England squad. Won't make the final cut.

Wouldn't take him even if Southampton paid us

I thought he was one of the worst players on the pitch. Two chances where he failed to make the keeper work, lost possession several times and his control was as wayward as usual. The only positive thing I can remember is him pouncing on a loose ball and Alderete bringing him down. Barnes was crap and I thought Murphy was slightly better than Elanga. Decent effort on goal and produced a decent cross that we failed to get on the end of. Difference is, Barnes has produced this season and although Murphy offers little these days, he is capable of flashes of quality. Elanga has 'looked a little better' recently by virtue of not being absolutely shocking. He's still not remotely good enough though and frankly a baffling signing.

If brighter means missing two chances and losing possession all of the time then aye, I guess he was one of the brighter ones He's singled out because he's fucking atrocious more often than not
