  1. You have to wonder how much of this guy's injury trouble is down to that tackle. Keeps suffering knee problems, it seems.
  2. Think we could be gone, now.
  3. Ian Dennis BBC Radio 5 live senior football reporter Posted at 11:12 BREAKING "Seydou Doumbia has signed for Newcastle United on loan from Roma, subject to a medical."

Genuinely didn't believe it could be real. But I had to check... https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-carver-5495512a Connected to Simon Pryde, so I imagine it's real.
  5. Was me. Cheers minhosa Notice they didn't pick up on my beaten by 3 goals or more under pardew stat and pretty much cut me off after it. Can't be talking badly about pardew on a national radio show, hey? Ha. Brilliant. I thought it would be someone off here. It wasn't the usual type to call in (I mean that as a compliment) and you actually managed to get some well researched points in. Most on these shows, usually end up in an argument with the presenter and the callers very rarely have a decent opinion. I despair when I listen to some NUFC fans on there. So I rarely listen any more. There are fans down here that actually think Pardew did a good job and Ashley has spent decent money FFS I did hear the "lost 30 something times." Then you got interrupted by that Saggers prick and Collymore having a shouting match. I thought the stat would be the 3 goals or more one. Which was another thing that made me think it was someone from here. cheers to be honest, i just regurgitated minhosas post, its spot on so i thought it was a good chance to get it said on the radio. ive just listened again, theyve edited the pardew defeats point, unbelievable. cant be speaking badly about alan on radio now, can we? Hang on, how have they edited it?
  6. I've never seen an interviewer ask over and over again, "Don't you want to leave Newcastle?" Fair play to the lad for being as patient and straight as he was.
  7. Currently in St. Mary's Costa drinking a flat white with gluten-free cherry bakewells.
  8. He was an absolute colossus today. Unplayable, and he's not been like that for a good few years. As much as I'd like to see see him play next season, if this is his last game, what a fucking high to go out on.
  9. Was he playing for Man Utd that year they hammered Roma? Googled it, he didn't play in any of the two legs. I can't see Totti switching shirts with the 232423th choice CB anyway They played them two years running. He played in this one: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7332289.stm Brown, Pique, Ferdinand, Silvestre, O'Shea and Neville all on the pitch at the end... Ronaldo an unused sub. ... Alan?
  10. I reckon it's pretty much guaranteed now. Hoped £20 on it earlier.
  11. Cameron has always been very sympathetic to fan protests.
  12. I think he has until 18.00 to respond to the charge, so there'll be nothing before then.
  13. Don't have a problem with the six game ban for spitting, seven with a previous sending off. The fact that people can end careers and escape punishment however, I do have a problem with. And the fact that Evans will get off.
  14. Cisse will get an 11 match ban, and Evans a small fine.
  15. So, now that we've shipped out Streete, Santon and Yanga M'Biwa, our fit defenders (with cover per position) are: Haidara Coloccini Williamson Janmaat NONE NONE NONE NONE
  16. I think I'm broken already, to be honest.
  17. Personally, he didn't have a problem with him. Professionally, he was one of the worst coaches he'd ever worked for.
