  1. There’s thousands of planes in the sky. What’s the relevance of that one? nowt as its turned left now... Hope the pilot has this thread open. He could have a field day.
  2. Your username is highly applicable.
  3. This feels like the game when we had two sendings off under Carver, and he accused Williamson of doing so deliberately. If we get a major tanking here, hopefully it'll have the same effect and it'll be the end of the line. It won't be though.
  4. Alnwick Sterry Good Campbell Lazaar Obertan Colback Smith S. De Jong L. D Jong Riviere
  5. I've turned down two sets of free tickets through work this season so far.
  6. SSN saying no deal agreed. He doesn't have an agent so they've had to bring lawyers in.
  7. It will be a mackem on a wind up or Charnley ringing in. Mind you I bet there are still insane NUFC supporters out there that do actually believe it. He had a Geordie accent. Didn’t sound that Mackem, for what it’s worth. There was some suggestion that he’d phoned in before under a different name though. He denied it and they tried to find the tape of it but unfortunately couldn’t. Could be a WUM I guess. Certainly wound me up. Guy I work with is an absolute muppet from Westerhope. Believes Rafa was "past it anyway with his negative tactics" and that Ashley has stabilised the club financially, and whilst he'd prefer if Ashley went, you don't know the new owner would be any better. Said he can't wait for the Arsenal game to get back to SJP. This is what we're dealing with.
  8. An increasing number of today's population are borderline brain-dead, is why.
  9. Probably: Tottenham (A) Man City (H) Man Utd (A) Chelsea (A) Arsenal (H) Everton (H)
  10. How many Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyans can there be?
  11. Statement from Zayed group, via the S*n. "It reads: “In response to numerous reports in the world media this morning, we would like to comment as follows. “We can confirm the representatives of his Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nahyan are in discussions with Mike Ashley and his team about the proposed acquisition of Newcastle United Football Club. “We view it as an honour to have the opportunity to build on the strong support, history and tradition of the club. “We have agreed terms and are working hard to complete the transaction at the earliest opportunity"
  12. Roughly £17M for those 3 players is tremendous business like. Add in Lascelles who barely got a game pre-Benitez and was then his captain a few month later. Technically signed under Pardew...
  13. Way of the world isn't it. Whatever you think, just as many people think the exact opposite.
  14. Turned out it was within the next 5 months.
  15. SOFT CUNT ALERT. Defo had teeth girl slide into his DMs. Don't blame the lad.
  16. "You want £19.1m... Let's bid £11.1m... wait... you accept!?!?!?" *frantically searches for the withdraw transfer bid button*
  17. Was he doing keepie uppies? Probably signing for Sunderland.
  18. Should have had a pen, and Kamara should have been either sent off with a straight red or a subsequent second yellow. Obviously we got neither. Blatant, aye? I'd say the straight red was contentious, but if that wasn't a straight red then he definitely should have had a second yellow for the over the top shoulder barge on Kenedy. Grabbed Kennedy by the throat.

  20. Google Ads have a daily budget set usually, so if it were to max out, it should reset the next day. It's possible (although unlikely) that Google have detected fraud. I work for a gym chain, and we have a number of club staff who (despite our best efforts) click on our paid ads out of laziness when going to sign people up. We've never had any warnings of click fraud at all, so I think it's unlikely click fraud would have detected on this scale. Given how Ashley works, I'd imagine we're under quite a lot of scrutiny (being on a public forum). It wouldn't surprise me if Keith Bishop has instructed the ads be disabled until this "blows over". Alternatively, they could just have stopped them in the North East and continued running them elsewhere. You can put exclusion limits in place to a high degree of accuracy, so it could be blocked in Newcastle, Co. Durham etc quite easily. Would also explain why you're not getting ad results connected via Hong Kong.
