  1. For me, I can probably only justify the £86 if it's gonna be NO v NO, so if it transpires that that can't happen, I'm happy to let someone else have my space.
  2. He was shaky in the air tbh, and some of his headers looked a little frantic. But he did improve. Think he'd be a great CB in the Colo mould, just faster.
  3. i don't think Cisse was offside when Sissoko passed to him to bundle it in but do think one of them was earlier in the move when Sissoko was put clear. Sissoko was definitely, definitely on when Obertan passed it when ESPN analysed it earlier.
  4. Have to feel sorry for the lad. He must feel nothing's going right for him atm. His second 'goal' tonight was a world class poacher's finish.
  5. I turned to the guy beside me and said it was fixed. You could tell, I honestly believe money was exchanged there. No one can be as bad at their job as the officials tonight. Any other profession you'd be sacked or reprimanded. The last ten minute decisions seemed like an attempt to make it seem less rigged, as neesy says.
  6. Jonas was poor, I thought, except for a brief spell in the first half. But Jonas and Obertan were told to push higher and higher up the pitch, along with Sissoko, which left four in a line with their defence. Our midfield was completely dominated numerically, meaning we had no choice but to try and go down the wing, where too often Jonas and Obertan were making runs too far ahead, or long ball it again to Cisse who can't do anything with them. We showed none of their ability to run through the middle because we were outnumbered, and only Marveaux took it on when he came on. Tactically, it wasn't the right shape for the game at all, and again Pardew didn't seem to fix it. Not saying 0-0 is bad, since we really won 2-0, but these were there for the taking tonight with some tweaks. Too often the middle of the park was deserted on our side.
  7. I jumped up to shout for the ref to book their player and then see he gave the foul to them, honestly unbelievably bad officiating. Exactly the same. Was sat right in front of it.
  8. Just back. One of the worst reffing performances I've ever seen, and I've seen some pretty bad ones live in the last 5 years. Two onside goals disallowed, and Sissoko booked for being two-foot tackled.
  9. NO v NO is definitely best, if possible. But will play any time. Provided we can get a team that is around our level, which judging on our last outing, wasn't a particularly high standard... My first meaningful contribution in the last game was to take out one of my own team.
  10. Might want to have a check for a nearby gas leak.
  11. Sky's little racism documentary's been deleted.
  12. Didn't they say on Twitter that it was Kharkiv made the request?
  13. Pards: Hoof it! Ndoumin: Switch to a 4-2-3-1 with defensive positions guarding the flanks from counter-attack and wary of Lampard's presence in the middle. Play it short, play it fast, and keep hold of it. Pards: Cheers, Jean.
  14. No problem with Mata being there, but his reason is literally "Juan Mata.. did his best." The rest is a rant about how we should all have been sent off.
  15. Maybe Giggs, but Garth Crooks explanation for why Juan Mata is in his team of the week... "Chelsea's defeat at Newcastle had more twists and turns than an Agatha Christie novel, with Howard Webb playing the role of the villain. How he did not give a penalty for dangerous play for Fabricio Coloccini's reckless challenge on Demba Ba, I'll never know. And while Ashley Cole isn't every neutral's cup of tea, Papiss Cisse should have been sent off for violent conduct for trying to throttle him. Regardless of these turning points, Juan Mata, assisted by Frank Lampard, did his best to turn the game in Chelsea's favour."
  16. If you quote a story from the Sun on RAWK you get immediately banned...
