  1. That looks like one big glass. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v610/mspkye/PDVD_003.jpg
  2. Why would you even mention Forster, Smith and Kadar? May as well list the youth players we've ditched too. For Europa League reasons. I doubt Smith would have been loaned out if we'd had a full European group campaign to play. And while Kadar didn't play, many were begging for him to during the CB injury crisis because our squad was too thin. I'm just urging prudence in our transfers, and suggesting people remember we could have many more matches this season. Keeping the squad the same size will result in more injury problems over the course of the year, and it'd be nice to have backups and alternatives. Unless we do a good deal of business, it doesn't look like the squad will be much bigger.
  3. Smith, Forster, Lovenkrands & Kadar started 4 games last season and were subs in 10 others. Somehow i think we will survive without them. As you say Amal has come in, obviously Simpson & Best will be replaced with better and others will come in too so its not an issuse at all imo. More concerned about Europa League, and the fact that all the above players (Barring Forster) would have started and subbed in on many more games had last season been like this.
  4. We need to be careful, and not go fapping ourselves over a £4m fee. So far, we've brought in Amalfitano, and got rid of Smith, Guthrie, Best, Forster, Lovenkrands, Kadar and now we might let Simpson go? All when our squad was too small to begin with. Are we really going to bring in 5 or 6 additional signings? Even then, that'll only keep our squad the same size. Squad players are important, and Simpson would be an ideal one for another year.
  5. That's f***ing brilliant. "Keep calm and get Shola on" I've got that proudly hung on my wall.
  6. Shearer vs Everton Cisse vs Chelsea Albert vs Man Utd Ameobi v Sunderland (all of them, but particularly the volley in the 5-1) Martins vs Spurs
  7. I've never seen either Benzema or Robben have a good game, so I can never understand the fuss.
  8. Ferdinand at his best was frightening, he was a colossus. But of the two, Terry is far closer to his peak than Ferdinand, who for at least half this season at Man Utd looked mediocre. Lescott is by far a better choice to partner, or Jagielka. That said, I'd have Ferdinand in ahead of Martin fucking Kelly.
  9. Well if NUFCFans say this is it, I suppose it must be fake.
  10. I often wonder if your old mate is part of that embarassing site I can see the similarities.
  11. Betting suspended on him at the moment by Sky.
  12. Sky have suspended betting.
  13. Can only be a good thing. We'll inevitably fail to get the majority of them.

Tell me this isn't true Sort of. He had a problem with his teeth (not sure if it was just his wisdom teeth) which is linked with back problems, not hamstring problems. The hamstring bit was what I really was referring to. I just couldn't see how hamstring weakness and wisdom teeth were linked. Your hamstrings continue all the way up your back and neck into your jaw and are anchored into place with your wisdom teeth like tent pegs. This is why when there's contact between a player's head or arm and another player's face, they seem to throw themself on the floor. Even a minor knock can cause the hamstrings to ping loose off their dental moorings and turn a player's legs to jelly. Really interesting that, I never knew.

  17. If it's not us, I'll definitely be upset.
  18. It reminds me very strongly of North Korea atm, post Kim Jong-Il death. All the crying in the streets and squares etc. Shot if you don't cry etc. Also some tremendous straw-clutching going on over there, as the return of Aquilani from loan has apparently guaranteed them at least 4th place next season.
  19. What the f***? They probably mean Shola? Lay f*** out of that bet! http://beta.betfair.com/football/market?id=1.104444534
