He's basically said that he's coming as a squad player. What more is he supposed to say?

Agreed. Prefer to play an injured Dummett instead of the unuseful Lacelle. I mean it's so obvious, the hint is in his name!! Sell Lacelle ffs. -
C Ronaldo

As if I'm actually serious

Top post. Totally agree that Lacelle is unusable. I think Rafa knows that he's f***ing s*** so he gave him captain to cheer him up. Don't sign Jocelu please! Sign a CB!!! You're both mental. Thanks. My friend,

Karma is a bad bitch Harry Kane. This a world cup year? -
Sorry to p*ss on your bonfire but both of those would be very poor signings Costa is a trouble maker and Lewandowski barely scores 50 goals a season, give me Joselu any day over those two fraudsters. Are you taking the p*ss?

Personally had high hopes we would get Diego Costa from Chelsea or Robert Lewandowski from Bayern, so naturally quite disappointed with a s*** signing such as this.

Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

Joselu, Lucas Perez, Kenedy, Reina and a left back. For the love of God a left back! -
Men like him are extremely rare in football, and even more so in the modern game. He is a leader and can galvanise an entire city with a charming turn of phrase. I hope we can make up for whatever we lack in quality with team spirit and commitment. If you were a player, wouldn't you run through walls for this man if you actually cared about football and the club you played for? So much love Rafa

Hopefully somewhere with a PFM. Hopefully to one of our relegation rivals. Hopefully Burnley.

Based on today they'll desperately need to add someone who can get Mane and Salah the ball in dangerous areas early and often. The midfield is f***ing horrendous. Oh definitely. They'll need to replace Coutinho who is a wizard at that himself. But they will most certainly go backwards if they don't significantly improve that defence. VvD will help slightly but he won't be enough IMO.
-
Henderson so sloppy, thinks he's Alonso. Also lolz at that Liverpool back 5. If they sell Coutinho, they better spend at least half of the money on a GK and some kind of defence.
-
He has a decent scoring record for a young lad who came in from the Spanish second tier. There's no doubt he has bags of talent. It's up to Rafa and his staff to get him right mentally and physically so he can showcase what he's got.

Newcastle United midfielder Jack Colback set to leave after training ground row with boss Rafa Benitez Jack Colback has almost certainly played his last game for Newcastle United The former Sunderland midfielder refused to take part in a training session Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez has since told the player to train alone Jack Colback has almost certainly played his last game for Newcastle United after a training ground row which has seen him banished from the first-team set-up. Sportsmail understands that the former Sunderland midfielder was already training away from the main group earlier this week when, after one player picked up a knock, he was called to join in. Colback, however, is thought to have refused to take part and this has infuriated manager Rafa Benitez, who has since told the player to train alone. The 27-year-old reported to the club’s training ground on Friday afternoon - after the senior session had finished - and was forced to work by himself. Colback will be left out of Benitez's 25-man Premier League squad and the Magpies have already offered him to other clubs, although his £40,000-per-week wages are thought to be a stumbling block. Colback began his career with the Black Cats, but joined Newcastle on a free transfer in 2014 and has since played 102 games for the club This won't go down well, but anyway........... Rafa doesn't have the greatest reputation when it comes to tact and sensitivity when dealing with players. Whatever your opinion of Colback's ability, it does look like he was humiliated here. With all due respect Cronky but that is a load of bollocks. Colback is a fraud and an impostor hiding behind his heritage and his teammates, humiliating the team and the club by doing nothing of note on the pitch apart from lagging behind the opposition tugging at their shirts and falling over. He has no personality or ability to speak of and Rafa has sussed him out. On top of that, if it's true that he's refused to train because he didn't figure in Rafa's plans then it only confirms what we've always known...that he's a coward.

Hard working local lad who loves the club my fucking arse Fuck off you lazy talentless wanker.
-
Exactly I couldn't give a f*** where the lad is from. The fact that we repeatedly conceded goals because of his thick talentless brain and podgy sham of an unathletic body makes me hate him as much I would hate anyone or anything that damages NUFC. He is fucking garbage and so is the manager that brought him in. Good riddance.

Looks to have a powerful shot with both feet and can play several positions. In addition to being quite strong and rapid, he could transform our counter attacking play whatever position he plays in.
-
This would be epic!
-
I hope the fans at the matches will let him know what we really think of him. Would be sweet to see his face at half time in the studio.
-
I wonder if he's been forced to take some English lessons. Can't imagine the producers will be happy with his awful use of grammar and pronunciation.
-
This thick cunt is guaranteed to say something stupid on air that will have him either apologising to someone or getting kicked off the Sky team altogether. He's so up himself he can't help what comes out of his ugly rotten lips.

It's the only thing we can do sadly. Some think that online rage and a bunch of "I told you so's" will somehow help prevent the worst from happening. We all know the fucker who owns us is a prick, and we've allowed him to stay on for ten years. Our best hope is that we get a buyer, the sooner the better as I would love for Benitez to manage this club for another decade.
