They can't stand the fact we are, and always will be, a bigger club than them sad c***s REGARDLESS if we get relegated. Exactly. To think of all the s*** thats gone on at NUFC this season we're still within reach of them. We are far from perfect but they really are pathetic. It would be f***ing brilliant if we finished above them. After all their s*** about how perfect their chairman is, all the money they've spent, and we're on our lowest ebb for years both on and off the pitch - they would f***ing never get over it. Totally agree. Even now their in our shadow!

Fair point, actually. I think he's a decent player and Duff has done quite well recently.

I think we should play 4-3-3. We should be wary of Boro's pace on the break- Tuncay, Downing, Allidiare, Alves- but at the same time try and get at their weak as piss defence. This is it, boys. Lets go all out for it and win this fucking game! -------------Harper------ ---Beye--Colo--Bassong--Duff-- -------Guthrie--Butt--Jonas--- -----Martin---Viduka---Owen---

No wonder they're still shit, their more concerned about NUFC than SAFC. Did you see they have 2 pages of celebrating Liverpool's first goal? Get a life

They said today that in Shearer's 5 games we've only had 12 attempts on goals in that period. Shocking if true. I see no hope for us.
-
Just seen it again and although it was a silly challenge it wasn't a red. If Gerrard had done that it would've been a yellow at most. Its purely because of reputation.
-
Shearer just said "Yes" when asked whether it was a red card. He also said that he feels let down by Barton and that Barton has apologized.
-
I was expecting defeat today, but what I cant handle is having 1 (ONE) single effort on goal in the WHOLE match. Liverpool had 27 (TWENTY SEVEN!!!!) chances. Its an utter joke. We're fucked, I just cant see us beating anyone else this season.

That's exactly what I thought when I read it. Fucking idiots.

Sir Bobby may feel sorry for Ashley, but I sure dont. What about the plan of trying to run this club on a shoestring budget? What about him only hiring friends not ideal people for the job? What about Llambias' appointment? Christ sake. But in terms of the playing side of things and Shearer, the man is bang on- as usual.

Sorry, what was I thinking. Slap me again... Still, not selling 3,000 tickets for 30 miles up the road in a massive 12 pointer is very poor. Recession or not. Too true, I was thinking about this today.

Saw an interview with Zlatan Ibrahamovic today on Eurosport- what a dope that guy is. He said "I think that La Liga's play is the best suited style to my game"....eh, excuse me? Isn't Spanish football quicker than Italian football (despite it still being slow paced), I think so?! How could that lazy cunt think he can play in a higher paced game! Italy is almost as slow as it gets yet he still struggles at times. Gimme a break, man...

In fairness to the mackems though, they never talk about us......considering how big our rivalry is I'd say it's about time they start taking notice of us a bit more. Tongue breaking through my cheek at this stage.

In fairness though, we are deep in a recesion here. Not everyone can afford £30, and not everyone would want to spend £20-30 on a ticket for a shite match.

Were you saying that in the back end of last season when Owen was our top scorer under Keegan? Quite frankly, Owen hasn't played enough number of games for us in his 4 seasons at the club- no way he has- but considering the amount of goals he's scored for us in those games he's just about been value for money. Imo, the situation is fairly simple; drop Owen or Martins and play one of them alongside Carroll or Viduka (Viduka preferably, imo). Who would you rather drop? Hmmmm, its a tough one- both Owen and Oba have been exceedingly shite of late but I'd have to say drop Oba. Owen WILL get us more goals than Oba.....his record proves that. Yes, Owen's miss against Pompey was very poor, especially for his standards, but I'm more than confident he would have finished Oba's chance. Owen keeps the ball very well for us, imo. Especially if you take into account his size. Martins cant hold up the ball....infact he cant do all that much. We stand a much better chance of keeping possession and saving it from coming right back at us if we have Owen and Viduka/Carroll upfront. Tbh, I'm really not too fussed if Owen's dropped or not. Either way he wont make a difference because we don't create any chances. It doesn't matter who we play upfront, if we don't create chances and dont have players who can pass a ball, then your strikers aren't going to score. We create virtually nothing so we score nothing. But despite all this Owen is a very poor choice of captain. No rallying the troops or owt like that......the only thing he does well is keep a cool head. But if I were a player I certainly wouldn't look towards Owen for inspiration and leadership.

"N'Zogbia was one of our best players!"

I cant stand that song they sing "Have you ever seen a Geordie with a cup!". How many have they ever won.....one? Lets hope we fucking hammer 'em.
