Blatantly bottled it. Like Beye, or is his injury different? What injury has Michael Owen got? The one that kept him out of Fulham which when scanned showed nowt and mysteriously had disappeared? Showed "no serious damage." Whatever..... It must be difficult being a teenager. Probably. It must be difficult being an Owen apologist. Its called being a realist, I've never said he wasn't a drain on the club. All I'm saying is that injury prone player gets injured....surprise surprise. Too many people wearing blinkers though. Injury prone doesn't even begin to describe this lad! He must be made of glass, ffs. Exactly! So is it such a surprise he's injured again? Let me introduce you to sarcasm I originally responded to someone else's post about Owen bottling it, saying he's always injured this is no different. You say its different because he's faking it. I say I doubt it. You bring up random post I haven't even read despite having a different line of argument when arguing with me? (oh, and this was after you went in a huff) So has he bottled it or is he just injured as usual? I'm not sure. I can't imagine Owen would fake an injury- he's not really that type of player- as I'd expect someone like Martins or Viduka to do that. I think I'm gonna have to sway to the side that he's genuinely injured AGAIN. Although, it wouldn't shock me if I found out he'd bottled it.

We must have the most brittle strike force in Premiership history in Owen, Oba, Viduka, and Ameobi who have all been injured for most of this season, and if you throw in Carroll's recent injury it just couldn't get any worse. Don't forget Smith. Fuckin' hell! At least we have the indestructible danger-Ranger to back us up...

That's a nightmare

I hope not. But I think the lad is getting fairly frustrated warming the bench, and by the sound of things, he's not prepared to be loaned out again. Forster's had a months loan to Stockport, while Tim's been to Falkirk for nearly a season. I think Fraser should be shipped out for 6 months/a season in August.

I mean, if he wasn't on such ludicrous wages then it might be a bit easier to accept, but considering the amount of money he earns and the amount of games and goals hes given us (this season especially) then its completely uneven.

No doubt if we put up a banner with something like this sportsdirect-relegation idea, Ashley and Llambias will point and chuckle to eachother about it! I can almost guarantee it!

I'd say that's about right, although I'd say as good as someone like Tim Howard when he's on top of his game. Tim Krul is the future, I'm tellin' ya. I was delighted he didn't leave for Feyenoord last summer, and if we go down I want to see this lad given a crack at the whip.

How about instead of a banner we just chant "We are Leeds", as opposed to our "Newcastle, Newcastle, Newcastle"? Would make sense....
-
Think we're actually 8th Well there you go then, even by that standard we are a big club. Aye, aye. Considering we've won nowt for the last 40 years that's pretty damn impressive! I'm very proud of our clubs history, and just because we haven't won anything for donkeys years doesn't mean we should be ashamed of our history. Imo, we've got a very unique, rich history that most clubs in this country cant match.
-
That would be AMAZING! Just as every non-Toon fan thought they couldn't hate us even more!

Cant say I took great pleasure in seeing Leeds go down. I've never had a disliking for them. It did make me chuckle a wee bit at the time but otherwise I've just wanted them to return to the top flight as their a proper club. Proper history and great fan base. The likes of Us, Man City, Wolves, West Ham, Leeds, Forest and Sheffield Wednesday are all in the same category of 'sleeping giants', imo. So, naturally I'd like to see all of us in the top flight together. We all have great tradition and history and good fan bases etc.

He'd miss, nailed on. Good job Sorensen doesn't play for them anymore.

Told you, you're staying up, the worry is null and void. You'll see. I shall be here on Sunday evening saying "told you so". You fucking better be!
-
I hope Edgar stays.

Pity he's out injured. Taylor would be nice though. I know! Just seen it this morning and was gutted! It would be fucking brilliant if Jonas did it, though!

Honestly, I don't care who scores, but yesterday I was day dreaming and had the vision of Andy Carroll coming on as a sub in the 87th minute and smashing in a rebound (in stoppage time to win the game for us), sprinting over to our fans who spilled out onto the touchline to celebrate with him! At that time the other two games were finished and Hull had won and sunderland has lost. And it was a gloriously sunny day, as well.

What dope came up with this? Derek Llambias? Says it all... No mate, your more than potty- your a fucking clueless gobshite!
