  1. AAAAAHHHH!!! I cant take it anymore!! Let us beat the cunts!!!
  2. Would have dropped Butt for Guthrie personally. Playing Smith as DM. I just cant see how Smith-Butt is gonna work. Butt is supposed to be the more defensive of the two yet Smith does well just to get into the oppo's half! Ah well, lets back them with all we've got!! HOWAY THE LADS!!!!
  3. I cant see us losing this, but then again it doesn't mean we'll win. Pompey are a good side under Hart and it'll be a tough but with home advantage and just the overall importance of this game I think we'll sneak the win.......
  4. Yeah, but what if we draw with Pompy, Hull only get one more point (far from inconceivable) and we beat boro and draw with Fulham. With our GD maybe even lose to Fulham too. Of course it's a bad situation, but remember how crap Hull are too, so we'd be by no means down. With the way everyone is at the bottom, we're not down til we're down. Fair point, Hull are probably the worst team in the league atm.....so you never know. If we win tomorrow and our 2 home games after that, we're pretty much home and dry, imo.
  5. No, even a draw would send us down tomorrow night. Yes, mathamatically we will still be in it, but realistically we wont, imo. If we draw Vs Pompey that will put us down to 3 points adrift of Hull and level on points with Boro. Now what if Hull manage to knick an unlikely point against Villa next week, or even worse go and beat Stoke the following week? That could potentially leave us 6 points adrift. So lets say Hull lose to Villa next week, we draw tomorrow night, lose next week and Hull beat Stoke? That'll leave us 6 points adrift going into our game against Fulham! All hypothetical of course, but I cant stress how important a win tomorrow night would be for us. It would do so much for us points and morale wise......and it would be us back in touch with the mackems. But anything can happen in football
  6. Anyone else reckon that this is the biggest game the clubs ever had since Portsmouth at home in 89 (or was it 90?)? Anything other than a win will see us surrender our PL status, imo.

Just the thought of a ladies fanzone is
  8. Soooooo nervous about this game tomorrow. Cant get it out of me heed. 1-0 Toon; Owen
  9. Cunt Clattermole is playing- lets hope he breaks his neck.
  10. Blackburn fans singing "Cheer up Alan Shearer"
  11. Ah yeah, I forgot about that cross...
  12. True, but in football the fans are always made to suffer- their fault or not. But what could be done to the twats respobsible for misrunning the club? Its a tough one. But as someone pointed out in this thread, the distribution in money through English football these days is scandalous! Each year we see more and more clubs scrape by in terms of survival. The amount of money pumped into the Premier League is disgusting, imo. I know this is a much poorer standard of league and supported but I'll use the League of Ireland as an example. Cork City, one of the biggest teams in the country are on the verge of extinction....they have 2 weeks (just under, infact) to come up with €500,000 which is highly unlikely, yet around 3 weeks of Frank Lampards or Cristiano Ronaldo's wages could almost wipe out the debt. I'm sure there are lots of smaller clubs in the lower breaches of English football in the same situation as Cork. The Premiership has fucked up English football. On the surface there's this 'best league in the world' look and tag to it. There's big stadiums, big crowds, all the biggest players and quick, exciting football. But if you look closer and dig a little deeper, there are clubs suffocating under crippling debts and battling just to stay in existance.
  13. Last season under KK he did a job- showed us what he's capable when crossing the ball (in open play) and scored a beauty of a free kick against Spurs- he worked well with Butt and Barton I thought. His cross for Owen's first goal vs scum last season was magnificant, and he put in an even better one for Owen's goal against Bolton this season. So he has got ability. But when he has played this season he has been utterly dire! So slow, and back to his usual abysmal corners. I know he got jeered off this season in one of our home games, under Kinnear. The team we were playing escapes me.... I honestly think he'd be no worse than Nolan, tbh. Although, the chances are he wont be much better....
  14. Duff Vs Spurs. A good bit of play in the build up and I absolutely creamed myself when it went in!
  15. You'll be f***ing suicidal when we join them. I know.
  16. so much for professional expertise. Of course, this is a manager who thinks he's good because he beats one team to a title. It ought to be noted that Rupert Lowe vetoed the signing of Drogba on account of wage demands and attitude and I believe the other player was Emmanuel Adebayor (who was refused a work-permit) as opposed to Malouda. ah, the Mike Ashley blueprint.
