    Season Tickets

Anyone know how much it costs to get your seat moved as a season ticket holder?
  2. When do these get answered?

If a disappointing transfer window and failure to sign another striker was something a manager would resign over then about 3/4 of Premiership managers and most in the Football League will be handing in their notice. .com and especially True Faith are becoming boringly repetitive with articles that sound like they've been written by moody or hysterical schoolgirls. Generally I enjoy reading .com and true faith, but the latter especially have the most depressing of reads! Most of the time I agree with the general concept of what they say, but by god can it make you depressed!

Imo it would be nailed on relegation if he walked/got the chop. No one in their right mind would want to work for us after that- and the ones that would are the likes of Joe Kinnear etc. And we all now how that goes. He must stay. He absolutely must.
  5. Fair point. I'll still bicker though, if needs be. There's two sides to every story, however with both sides so ardent in this one as to who's right, we'll be here for another 100+ pages and still have to agreement. Personally I think if the club could just for once learn the golden rule of 'if it's not broken then don't fix it', then we wouldn't be having this conversation. I haven't gotten to a game with my season ticket yet, but I'll be at the next one and the rest. If the atmosphere really is that unsavoury amongst our own supporters I really think I'll just move to the back of the Gallowgate. Sounds fairly hassle free to sing and stand there...
  6. Going to a football match in England (certainly at the top level) is quite the joke, tbh. I struggle to imagine any other countries in or outside Europe with such a restriction on standing.. Other countries have large proportions of their grounds standing every week and no one is hurt or killed- and because of this, the atmosphere is generally a whole lot better when there are large standing areas, I think that's just a fact. As has been stated, people are allowed to stand at rugby matches and various other sporting events- for god sake people even stand before and at half time during matches! So how is it a 'danger' at a football match? I just find it so, so frustrating how ignorant the authorities are to the concept of safe standing. Even since the introduction of all seated stadia in Britain thousands of fans have stood every week, yet there have been no catastrophes! So I would love them to give us some answer to how safe standing will not enhance a matchday experience! With the technology they have now it is more than possible to keep crowd numbers under control. Also, it would end tension between fans with different perceptions on how one should enjoy a match day and we wouldn't have ridiculous endless-bickering threads like this one!
  7. The authorities at SJP really do seem quite extreme! I would be very surprised if any other ground in the league had this much trouble over a small corner of the ground standing during a game ffs! It's not like it's violence against the away fans, constant pitch invasions, or any other obvious destructive behaviour! It's just standing for goodness sake, and as people have said this would of been so avoidable had Level 7 been left untouched. Banning people from attending a football much for standing. Think about it for just a minute and it is just such an absurd thought. Our club, modern football=
  8. I think Golfmag indicated it might in the next year or so. When he does, I will get absolutely mortal and dance through the streets of Newcastle and up to St.James' Park where I will proceed to jizz myself.
  9. If I find that they become quite extreme with their handling in getting people to sit down, or the atmosphere in the corner dips considerably, I might just ask to get my ticket moved to the back of the Gallowgate- from what I read on here there seems to be a gathering up at the back there too; it could be less trouble too.
  10. Did you have a leaflet on you seat/row? I couldn't tell you, I've missed the first two home games but will be there for the next one against Blackburn! I'm in the fourth row from the back, so I'd expect the first 3 or so rows stand? Asking the wrong person mate, i dont sit there all i know is whats said here about leaflets. I would imagine its zero tolerance though otherwise anyone thrown out will use that as an excuse.

  12. What about the first few back rows that stand? surely they wont get penalised as they aren't really obstructing peoples view, despite it being and 'offence' to stand I'm mentioning the backs rows 'cos my tickets in one of them!
  13. This is absolutely gutting news. An absolute fucking disgrace. This simply can't be justified. What is the point?
  14. Excellent signing, imo. I still cant be feel its a crying shame Enrique's gone- a back line of: Santon----Coloccini----Taylor----Enrique Would be absolutely excellent. But moving on I'm thrilled he's signing!
  15. I'd be pleased with a draw, although I can see a frustrating performance and a narrow defeat for some reason...
  16. I can't believe how low the attendance was today. It makes you wonder just how many people are getting fed up of this regime and packing it in.
  17. Aye, and doesn't go down clutching the back of his calf after someone puts a tackle in on him! But its a fair comparison, you can see even by the way he controls a ball and passes it that he's naturally a technically gifted player.
  18. After listening to that Sky Sports bollocks I really would consider cancelling my subscription. Absolutely horrific stuff. I fucking hate them..
  19. The commentating on Sky Sports for the Liverpool Vs Bolton match is nothing short of unprofessional, from Ray Wilkins especially. He is one hell of a cunt. You would think they were both Liverpool fans commentating, Bolton rarely get a mention and for the slightest thing Liverpool players have praise heaped upon them. The usual Sky Sports guff but Ray Wilkins is unbearable imo.

  21. Very saddened by this We've lost a tough character and an excellent player who wont be replaced. We'll suffer from this.
  22. Is that Sky's fault, or the mismanagement from the Premier League? Could they have spread the Sky money out so it was more evenly distributed to stop continuously successful teams from breaking away financially? Would that have been fair? Its taken 20 years, but I think we're finally starting to see the issues the Premier League has caused to English football. Its become one of the most popular leagues, but has it helped the growth of English footballers? Has it helped the development of English clubs in general (from National to Grassroots)? Is anyone surprised or concerned that an English manager has yet to win the Premier League? Very true, I think responsibility must be distributed amongst the ruling parties of English football ie The FA, Premier League and Sky. It doesn't appear that there was any structure of coherence in the money given out by Sky to clubs- as you said its created a huge divide between clubs, not only divisions apart, but between clubs in the top division! It's been totally mismanged and I'm afraid that we've passed the point of no return in terms of financial debt and inequality, ticket prices, fan isolation/disillusionment and, as is becoming most evident, the neglect of youth/grassroots in the country. While we've been getting carried away with wreckless spending on consumed in short sighted ways, other nations in Europe such as Germany, Spain and the Netherlands have excelled in youth development and become much more advanced in playing styles and philosophies, which is all evident in their national teams and a stark absence in our national team.
