My ST is in the the 4th row of block E in the SE corner- do the first 3 rows stand in that area?
-
If anything it would be the opposite. Get him out there in the limelight and milk it for every penny.

FWIW atmosphere did sound quite flat for most of it on the box.

Excellent post, tim. Agree totally on the standing front; I mean, what the hell is wrong standing at a football match? All people are doing is singing and standing, there's absolute nothing wrong with it at all. Obviously the authorities will say 'oh but it's dangerous', but I would bank on it they couldn't give an explanation to how it is. Afterall, all you are doing is standing in front of a plastic seat. I think its location is quite ideal being next to the Gallowgate- that place really needs a boot up the ass at times, which is a shame as on its day the noise can be tremendous. Can't wait to take my place in block E row R seat 67 in the Corner

The one thing that does install a bit of hope for me is our midfield; as people have said we wont be chasing shadows (or as many, hopefully) next week as we were today. I think in Cabaye, Tiote, Barton, Jonas and Obertan we have the ability and energy to get a result. It will be tough, though.

It's very hard to judge a striker when he's not given good service, or there's no chances created. Lets judge him when he's in a settled team playing some form of structured football. However, we need a new striker, regardless. We can't rely on Ba to be our main goal source.

True, although I thought he coped surprisingly well with what was thrown at him in the 2nd half- however I am aware that Gervinho switched sides, but containing Walcott isn't an easy job. I'm not a fan of the guy but I thought he could've been much worse. Kept it simple.

Agree with all of that

Anyone else not able to log in? Each time I try to it says 'error with login details'. It seems the only way I can get on is if I reset my password each time I go on!! And then the next time I try to log on it wont accept! Driving me nuts.

Love the way I just spent over £500 on a season ticket there so

I would bit yer arm off for a point here like. Absolutely shitting it. If we can weather the storm for the first 50mins or so then they'll start to get frustrated and the usual cracks could start to appear. We're going to have to be on our best to get a win here.

Chill Otter, man, it's the best league in the world. Ever. Didn't you know?
-
Solid game today. Give him a new 6 year deal.
-
Atmosphere sounded pretty flat for the most part (I know they didn't have much to shout about, but still..)
-
How the fuck did this lad get a new contract?
-
Life will be made easier for him should he have a new striker and a fit Ben Arfa to work with. He looked promising today, I'm very pleased with him
-
He's probably our best player technically, along with Cabaye. And last season he was hardly 'slightly above average'...
-
Switch our full backs. It's only a matter of time before Gervinho punishes us for Raylors....shitness.
-
He's faster than I thought. Looks more of a threat than Shola.....obviously.
-
We have absolutely zero intent to keep the ball. Why? Why adopt such a mentality when we have arguably two of the most gifted players, technically, on the pitch on Barton and Cabaye- the latter being an immense passer of the ball, you can see even the way he picks out a pass he's got that special little chip in his brain that makes him different class. The Ameobi-Ba partnership just appears pointless imo. There's no theory to how we should utilise them, it's just aimless long balls launched into Arsenal's half in the hope of something happening out of nothing. We need to change things asap. It'll be interesting to see where Obertan's put on. If it weren't for the outstanding positioning of Coloccini we'd be behind, for sure. Lets get on that shaggin' ball and give them a game! HOWAY!!

Can see us taking the lead but conceding a late equaliser. 1-1.
