My view is if he is to stay, and report back for duty it’s in our best interest to re introduce him to the team, and the fans at least not hate each game, just ignore him and support the team. We know by now he would like to move on, so our “relationship” is kind of clear. He should play as good as he can to get a move elsewhere, and we should use him to maximize sales value.
