  1. As long as the window is open we will see no change in his stance. They, Isak and agent, have chosen a path, and are committed to see it out. So it’s a game to see who blinks first. Both parties have a lot to lose. Just out of curiosity I would prefer us to keep him, let’s see how it plays out. Risky. To be fair, Liverpool are the only involved part with more upsides than downsides atm. Cunts.
  2. Back up strike in what way. Currently we have 1 striker that are on strike who say he will never play for us again and a very raw prospect. We need a striker in, label him as backup or 2nd choice what ever, the striker we buy will most likely be our first choice for at least 6 months. Just get it done.

Just like Isak and Liverpool. We basically have to agree with the selling club or move on. I can’t believe our scouts have no other targets to replace Wilson like.
  4. I think Jackson would fit in very well in our team.
  5. I think it’s been painfully obvious as this has dragged out that he prefers manu. We have been a backup option if it did not materialize.
  6. If we sign Šeško in the next few days and give him nr 9 i hope we say in some form or way that he is replacing Wilson as Newcastle no 9. Just for the laugh.
  7. No surprise really. I think this would have been done if we were his first choice. Welcome to rejection city, population: Nufc Feels like me at school parties
  8. Got a feeling he won’t end up here. Just to much noise.
  9. I really really hope we stick to our guns on this. In no way we can let Liverpool spin this as a “bargain” Pay up or jog on.
  10. Liverpool were willing to pay 120m for Isak, but bid 110m. So obviously not the same😅
  11. We don’t know really. He wants away no doubt, but strike etc I doubt personally.
  12. It’s only been 10 months to get a CEO. No rush like. To me it’s clear as day that something just ain’t right behind the scenes. Just too much that does not add up. I hope to be proven wrong, but after supporting this club for 35 years I know that when we can fuck things up, we usually do.
  13. We are lucky Howe is a very good manager. We have no CEO, no sporting director after loosing 2 the last years. No stadium update, no training facility update. So far no real «purple» signings to match Isaks ambitions. If you do not see that we are loosing momentum off the field you either don’t want or are naive.
  14. Agree, on us. What I looked forward to after Ashley left where to be ran like a professional outfit. Honestly does not feel like that the last two years. (On the pitch its good mind)
  15. It honestly looks like no one at the club have a clue what we are doing at the moment to be fair. Wont judge before the window is over bit it seems like a royal clusterfuck as things stand.
  16. I could cry. But then again we can still end up with a fantastic transfer window.
  17. Not been too worried this summer, until about now. To me it seems like we are a ship without a captain. Howe and his team do their best, but no backing or support from senior management. It’s speculations from my side, but so far this summer looks incredibly unprofessional and slow. Hope this feeling is just something that is build by media speculations and the lack of signings, as if Isak is away and we fail in this window I am afraid other players will follow him out the door eventually and we have to do a rebuild. Not something I look forward to with our pace & negotiation skills 😂
  18. It’s a lot of money. But when we bought Isak we paid a premium for a largely unproven player. Now he is proven we demand 150-200M. Most clubs can’t fork out that kind of money, hence they need to take more risk themselves.
  19. Don’t want to get my hopes up. Good player if we can get it done, and interesting from a tactically perspective. However a lot of money when we have several areas needing reinforcements. Anyway, I trust the club and their decision, they have earned it.
  20. @Ghandis Flip-Flop @54 @bobbydazzla I agree with your points, but still would wait until the DOF appointment. ideally if the case is that the candidates have meet and are aligned I would first announce the CEO. Then the DOF who are «hired» by the new CEO. The he can promote Ross to whatever role. For me it creates some sort of structure and commitment from all parties going forward. Guess I am just burned by the lack of stability at the senior management level the last years 😂 Just want us to get it set up the right way now.
