  2. I'm sure Froggy can tell you more, but it's likely to be a massacre. So I doubt there's much value.
  3. Am I missing something here - why have Totesport voided the Walcott part of my anytime double? Edit: Oh, looks like they fucked up. Sorted.
  4. Much the same. I know you'll probably remember the "unlucky" late goals more but to have a late goal win a bet is a very, very rare thing for me.

New year, same shit. They're absolutely awful.
  6. Deserved equaliser for us. Camped in Stoke's half for most of the last 15-20 minutes. Should've won but showed great character not to let it be one of those days.
  7. Arsenal will win 1-0 for maximum annoyance.
  8. Mirallas hit the woodwork twice annoyingly. Hope it isn't one of those days.
  9. Walcott and Suarez anytime Arsenal -1 and Liverpool -1 Unlucky Nut.
  10. Hmm. We could've picked a better game for both Distin and Jagielka to miss.
  11. Man, Swansea are flagging this year. They keep threatening to play well and go up the table, then sort of, erm, don't.
  12. Probably posted somewhere else but anyway, list of players with a contract expiring this coming summer: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/spieler/vertragsende/basics_gesamt_2014.html

I was about to stand up and applaud the goal he almost scored against us on Sunday. Would've been fucking outrageous.

But that's the point, dude. They've not beaten a single team around them this year. Why is that about to change? Granted, they've had some hard home games so purely by the law of averages they'll eventually win a couple. But to win the amount they need to win, I can't see it, especially given there is absolutely no sign of them picking up a few wins away from home - their one win being a gift against 10 men, and even then they were second best for much of the game. I think part of the mentality here might be that people just assume Sunderland won't go down as it's too good to be true for a Newcastle fan. Really, they're total turd and need a massive turnaround to accrue the points they'll need.

Their 3 wins have been single-goal "spirited" victories against top 8 teams, backs against the wall, relying on the other team missing chances and being vaguely solid. They've shown a total lack of quality and creativity to beat teams around them when the onus is on them to go and attack. Something major will have to change for them not to go down. They're awful.
  16. Obviously biased but Barkley is fucking class. Just turned 20 and he's breezing past players, is extremely strong and just has a way of gliding with the ball which can't really be taught. Will be world class if he continues to develop like this (decision making and final pass needs some work, but hell, he's 20). Total fuckwittery if he isn't at the World Cup and providing his form doesn't drop off, it'd be insane not to at least have him as a primary option off the bench.
