  1. About to do a Young/Silva anytime double once it's confirmed Young is starting.
  2. We could be a great double act. My agent will be in touch. No Rooney. No, Rooney! No, just no Rooney. No, no; no, no, no no; no no, no no; no, no, there's no Rooney. Rooney isn't playing.
  3. I've already covered the "Young is a cunt" angle ffs.
  4. 4/1 some places mate. Good value that given the little cunt has found a bit of form.
  5. Like the look of Rooney anytime today, but gonna wait for the teams. Cos I'm badass like that.
  6. Really depends on Man City's mentality today. Got an annoying feeling they'll be happy with 2-0, minimal effort, job's a good'un.
  7. Branko was having a good time last night.
  8. Course not, get involved. If we get beat I'm sending my No.2 (Disco) to face the media.

I did consider a hiatus as means of apology but I just love you lot too much. It was an immeasurably debilitating event though, yes.
  11. Remy and Rodriguez were my main 2 performers for a decent GW. My captain's choice of Coleman was, err, debatable.
  12. Yesterday has made our game vs Southampton on Sunday massive. First time we've had a real setback this season, interesting to see how we respond vs a side who've just had a great win.
  13. Spurs fucked over my Newcastle/Spurs double but the far more unlikely win/BTTS treble of Man Utd, Newcastle and Man City came in to make it a good day at the office.

I disagree. I don't think there was any subtle explanation for the result, it was quite simply that the red card changed the game completely. Sure, we could have played better, but we still battered them with 10 (admittedly, as a result of inevitably 'trying harder' to make up for the extra man). I'm positive we weren't getting beat with 11, but shit happens. Things just went wrong. Congratulations to them for being "spirited" and "battling" and other words that are banded around whenever there's a good win for a struggling team, and they've every right to be chuffed with the result but it really was a gift of a win for them. There was very little actual quality from them to suggest they'll be anywhere else than the bottom 3 come May.

Ki went down very theatrically, as it seems all players do, but no complaints really. Stupid decision for Howard to pass to Osman, awful control from Osman. Both should be shot with shit for that. We still created a bucketload of chances with 10 men. They're garbage, which makes the defeat all the more irritating.

Absolutely nothing from yesterday suggested they're going anywhere else than the Championship, tbh. A Christmas gift of a win if ever there was one.
  17. Boxing Day bets anyone? Looking where to invest the Arsenal-Chelsea winnings. Probably straight into the bookies' back pockets but we'll see. Some awful value, mind. Chelsea at 1/3 can bugger right off. Man City to win and over 3.5 goals @ 5/2 is tempting. 6/8 Man City home league games that would've paid out, while 6 out of Liverpool's last 7 away league games have gone over 3.5.
  18. I was technically in goal for a short period of time, although come to think of it that was more me being on the goal line haplessly defending in one of the many incidents when I was nowhere near the position I was supposed to be on the pitch. Sometimes you need your umpteenth central midfielder to put in a shift defensively.
  19. He's calling you a massive gay, Yorkie - what you going to do about that? N-O Celebrity Deathmatch.
  20. For a purely unbiased take on things, the Reds should definitely get Knoxy this time.
  21. Gazzetta are 50 shades of wrong with that team. So wrong it hurts a little.
  22. It comes from me playing Devil's Advocate. It'd certainly be interesting to see what happens if he were to get injured for a few games. His current form is phenomenal but you're a totally different side without him. i.e. he is without doubt the sole difference between you having a serious tilt at the title, and pushing for top 4. Basically he's a wanker who needs to stop scoring.
  23. Flip it round - 2 points above 5th and are completely reliant on one man. 1-2 is fair. http://api.ning.com/files/sqEmYzaj13oLVs6lINmY52w1BSyrS8OUXioLrDTpQTHbbg81OElAgz2MD0vlmCtKtnT9xPGoHxX*-50qr8FECJnRTDSdSD2e/devils_advocate.jpg
