On a scale of 1 to satellites spinning out of control, how displeased is Babatunde currently?

The Swiss team is extremely organized and strong. Been seriously impressed whenever I've seen them. Hitzfeld has done a really good job there. Switzerland are definitely one of the most improved teams in Europe in the past 18 months. Need a good tournament performance to back it up though, because they've had impressive qualifying campaigns in the recent past and done nowt at tournaments. Off the top of my head, anyway. They've been relatively "solid" for a little while now, but they look like they've got some quality to go with it now. Hitzfeld is the key factor behind it all coming together.

Dag & Red bet was void. Get in. ======== Fair play, GB. Tremendous win, that. Maintain he's still either completely loaded beforehand / mad to put a stake like that on a 2800/1 bet, but there you go. That's why he's £140,000 richer and I'm not. (My sheer cynicism says there's still a chance it's an elaborate marketing ploy with WH in on it. )

If you had just won that much, wouldn't the money be paid to you a different way as opposed to straight into your online account? Always thought for transactions of any kind which were more than £5,000/£10,000 or so, you'd do it via a 'trader'? Plus, as Colin points out, to be able to put £50 on a 2800/1 shows you're already completely loaded. Either that or completely mad. Still, if real, I won't knock anyone who takes that much money off a bookie.

To have £50 on that accumulator, I have to say, is pretty odd. Fair play if it's real.

Dag and Red tripped me up this afternoon. Couldn't have really seen a Cheltenham win coming and D&R @ 17/10 was absolutely absurd, regardless of the result. Onto the next one.
-
It appears the answer is that they can't defend, despite being unbeaten at home. This afternoon is firmly belonging to the bookies unless things drastically change.

About 5 strong home favourites behind, and now Dag and Red.
-
1-1! Surely everything he owns on Torquay/draw now?
-
What did the mate of a mate do in the end, G_B? Torquay 1-0 up.
-
So, anyone care to tell me why Dag and Red are 17/10 today?

What a steaming heap of shite. As a country, we love to be offended by nothing. It's really fucking pathetic.

That's a soccergoal.

Still not sure how to get screenshots up here. Argentina over 2.5 goals comes in nicely.

On the commentary with Ray Hudson. The Peru keeper is like a green fly, apparently.

Colombia at their first WC since 1998.

Alun Armstrong has his own football 5/7 a side centre. Happens to be a rather funny bloke, if a little egotistical with pictures of him playing for Ipswich v Inter Milan scattered throughout the building.

Anyone watching Ecuador v Uruguay? That disallowed goal decision. He's about 2 yards onside.

Thought I was onto a winner here. Annoying but can't really complain after Ozil scored in the last minute; 1-1 in the last-minute stakes. Had a little lay on over 2.5 few minutes ago too to minimise losses from this bet. Croatia-Belgium BTTS and the Ozil/Sweden-Austria BTTS double has made it a very good night. And Armenia. Can't forget Armenia. Lay betting has served me very well the past couple of months. Saved a lot more money than I've lost by doing it in-play. You can call it negative if you like, I call it saving money. This was a prime example. 2-0 up, Spain didn't look overly fussed about getting a 3rd. Don't concede many goals whatsoever. Belarus barely threatened. You just knew something was up, and so it was. Quick lay bet and I've virtually recovered my stake.

I've learnt the hard way with Portugal. They are perennial coupon-busters. Avoid at all costs.

Chile taking the piss in Colombia.

Just realised that South American qualifying is - if I'm reading it right - pretty much wrapped up. Only debate is whether Uruguay will qualify automatically or via the playoffs. Surely Uruguay, and for that matter Ecuador, won't be overly bothered - as you mentioned Disco - if they need to face Jordan?
