  1. Villa are an odd team. They have some decent players but they put in more than their fair share of crap performances.
  2. One of the thickest, most unnecessary challenges imaginable by Lennon.
  3. Some exceptional touches there. The weight of Paulinho's was perfect and Soldado could easily have miscontrolled that running at pace. Great goal.
  4. Better week after 2 atrocious weeks. 55 so far, plus whatever Soldado and Walker get here.
  5. I think the adverts are great, personally.
  6. They are, tbf. Nearly evens with a team with a history of winning big at SJP, and more importantly a team in very good form, against a wildly inconsistent team who are prone to collapsing in games. Probably the h'caps are the way to play this. Also seen Liverpool to win by 2 goals at nearly 5/1 - could be appealing to those who've gone for 2-0/3-1 Liverpool, which seems to be a lot of people. Hope you do smash the cunts. Just can't see it at all.
  7. Can get 9/2 on Suarez and Rooney anytime. Outrageous. Guess the only slight doubt is whether Suarez might be on the bench due to Uruguay travels? Otherwise, it's a big overpricing.
  8. Yup. Therefore I've saved you a point or 3.
  9. I think my previous comments regarding Montenegro's undoubted quality were firmly proved tonight. Written apologies will suffice.
  10. Was looking through all the results and this was the one that stood out most. 5-2 ffs. Moldova only finished 2 points behind Poland.

Really enjoying the Guardian Football Weekly ones currently. Jimbo's very quick and funny as well as usually very knowledgeable guests. Mondays and Thursdays.
  12. Danger all about tonight what with plenty of teams not having much to play for. Works the other way anarl, easy to underestimate those teams. Basically, be careful. Don't think I'll be going heavy on stakes. **6 hours later** http://i.cdn.turner.com/trutv/trutv.com/graphics/shows/storage-hunters/interviews/t-money.jpg "MONEY!"
  13. Be careful with Taylor in this market in the future, he generally doesn't get an awful lot of 180's as often switches down to T19 even if he's planted first two darts in T20. Taylor in the 180 market is always a fairly large price against majority of players. Although 4/1 still seems way to big for a one off match, he’s usually around 10/1 to get most 180’s on the night in the Premier League. Yeah. Watched a fair bit of Taylor especially in the past 2-3 years and he loves going down to T19. Just thought 4/1 in a one-off match - a big match which I fancied Chisnall to hoke in - was way too big. Would've priced it at 7/4 myself.
  14. Anyone else get on Paddy Power's offer of Taylor to have the most 180s? 4/1. Easiest bet I think I'm ever likely to win. Laid it off to guarantee a decent profit.
  15. Think I'll be taking Denver over 38.5 points later. I still think they'll let the Jags in a couple of times due to their suspect defence (yes, Jags are really, really bad, I know.) Don't think it'll be quite the total demolition job people are making out. Something like 45-17. Think the h'cap spread will be pretty much on the money (26.5 is the best you can get I think for the Broncos.)
  16. On a scale of 1 to satellites spinning out of control, how displeased is Babatunde currently?
  17. The Swiss team is extremely organized and strong. Been seriously impressed whenever I've seen them. Hitzfeld has done a really good job there. Switzerland are definitely one of the most improved teams in Europe in the past 18 months. Need a good tournament performance to back it up though, because they've had impressive qualifying campaigns in the recent past and done nowt at tournaments. Off the top of my head, anyway. They've been relatively "solid" for a little while now, but they look like they've got some quality to go with it now. Hitzfeld is the key factor behind it all coming together.
  18. Dag & Red bet was void. Get in. ======== Fair play, GB. Tremendous win, that. Maintain he's still either completely loaded beforehand / mad to put a stake like that on a 2800/1 bet, but there you go. That's why he's £140,000 richer and I'm not. (My sheer cynicism says there's still a chance it's an elaborate marketing ploy with WH in on it. )
  19. If you had just won that much, wouldn't the money be paid to you a different way as opposed to straight into your online account? Always thought for transactions of any kind which were more than £5,000/£10,000 or so, you'd do it via a 'trader'? Plus, as Colin points out, to be able to put £50 on a 2800/1 shows you're already completely loaded. Either that or completely mad. Still, if real, I won't knock anyone who takes that much money off a bookie.
  20. To have £50 on that accumulator, I have to say, is pretty odd. Fair play if it's real.
