  1. Not as good as I thought he was a few years ago. Past year or 2 when I've seen him play he's been more often than not very disappointing.
  2. I'm sorry David but you could not have deserved to lose that money more. Stop betting against Bayern! It's not even my money and it's actually annoying me how much you've spluttered away on daft anti-Bayern bets due to a) underestimating their quality and b) your clear disdain for them.
  3. About £100 up. When I avoid betting on football I'm fine.
  4. Fancy a Lucky 15 for Derby Day. Space Ship Haikbidiac Fair Value Ruler of the World E/W L15.
  5. Hahahaha, one of the main things symbolising your club looks shit. :yao:
  6. Also, after finishing 7th, not getting especially far in Europe, knocked out by Oldham in the FA Cup in the 4th round, knocked out in the 4th round of the League Cup, and now losing the one player who carried them for large parts of the season - how is Rodgers winning this?
  7. One thing's for sure - Suarez and Liverpool were made for each other.
  8. Agree with this really. He's neither great nor disastrous currently IMO. Problem with Stoke is I can't see how they're going to progress, whoever they have in charge.
  9. Last season brought with it a whole load of erotic consequences.
  10. Shearer is one of the worst pundits in this country, and that's saying something.
  11. I'd be keen on Pereira and it still seems a realistic shout, but there's little merit in considering others at this stage as it's almost certainly going to be Martinez it seems. In hindsight, why someone like Kenwright would go for someone like Pereira is an unanswerable question. Too exotic. I don't think we're going to suddenly become a shit team as a few forecasts would have you thinking, but I just think Martinez is an especially big risk. My hope is the team spirit and structure Moyes has firmly put in place remains; if that's the case then I think he can come in and do a good job.
  12. He does have merit, certainly, but his league performances with Wigan are flat-out worrying. Yes, he hasn't had much money at all (get used to it Roberto) but they've never really even looked like being more than perennial relegation contenders. That's a big worry and it's the polar opposite of the "safe" or "comfortable" choice for us. It's a total wildcard pick, who knows how he'll do?
  13. Very little. Not sold on him at all.
  14. "Everton asked for permission to speak to Roberto last Thursday. I told them to wait until I had spoken to Roberto today." Thought we just weren't big enough for your titan of a manager, Dave.
  15. Yeah he's resigned. Interessant.
  16. It isn't as I've got money on him already.
  17. What a pile of fucking garbage.
  18. And now Vydra's injured. Just fuck off.
  19. Oh trust me, it's typical.
  20. Let's make that 2 losers.
  21. Vydra anytime in 90 mins @ 17/10
  22. Thanks for improving my day. What happened to Chelsea's EL place for winning it? Who does it go to? No-one. Well surely it has to go somewhere, unless someone gets a bye in the earlier rounds? To be honest, from the moment I knew there wasn't an extra place given to the winner's country, my interest in where it went vanished. Could well be a bye.
  23. Thanks for improving my day. What happened to Chelsea's EL place for winning it? Who does it go to? No-one.
