I guess so. To be clear, I think what Fellaini did was truly moronic regardless of whether he was provoked or not and I'm surprised it's only 3 games. But the key thing I take from this is that nothing seems to be predictable any more. Certain incidents are highlighted more. Equally as violent acts take place without any punishment. The whole thing's a mess.

That was for 5 yellow cards which doesn't automatically extend a subsequent ban for a red card. I think. To be frank, I'm not sure how they actually decide what length of ban is given in these circumstances. It's like they just decide on a number and go "that'll do". I thought he'd be banned for 4 games at the very minimum, based on nothing other than instinct.

Fwiw, thought you played fairly well in this game, which is a bit better than some of the predictions of total annihilation. Thought everything was summed up though by the Cisse chance when he turned and shot with his left. Last season that went in.
