  1. Arsenal will win comfortably. -1, -2, HT/FT, Arsenal +2.5 goals, anything. Nope, Walcott wincast. Come on Theo you vague wanker.
  2. It could be a cricket score but I think Reading will tighten up a bit and limit it to 4-1 or something. And Arsenal will let up.
  3. I'm raging about that Walcott miss, he better fucking score.
  4. Dunno how Reading messed that up.
  5. Couldn't resist Walcott to score in an Arsenal win @ 3/1.
  6. Thought it'd be totes bants.
  7. http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/32043676.jpg I'm interested... why have you backed Giroud to score twice?
  8. Fancy Arsenal tonight, unlucky Beren.
  9. I guess so. To be clear, I think what Fellaini did was truly moronic regardless of whether he was provoked or not and I'm surprised it's only 3 games. But the key thing I take from this is that nothing seems to be predictable any more. Certain incidents are highlighted more. Equally as violent acts take place without any punishment. The whole thing's a mess.
  10. couldn't believe it 1 nil down, to 2-1 so i thought, 'yeah, £5 on a draw, 5 mins to go' ... think it was 7/1, equalised a minute later and i thought 'Lucky' ..... 89mins ... If it's any consolation mate, I'm counting down the days until we can bet on Ponte Preta again.
  11. That was for 5 yellow cards which doesn't automatically extend a subsequent ban for a red card. I think. To be frank, I'm not sure how they actually decide what length of ban is given in these circumstances. It's like they just decide on a number and go "that'll do". I thought he'd be banned for 4 games at the very minimum, based on nothing other than instinct.
  12. Fwiw, thought you played fairly well in this game, which is a bit better than some of the predictions of total annihilation. Thought everything was summed up though by the Cisse chance when he turned and shot with his left. Last season that went in.
  13. How have people got high scores this week? Done absolutely and utterly shite unless Cazorla © has a stormer.
  14. Wish I'd read about that Falcao to score in a Barca win bet. Know it's easy to say now but 8/1, class odds. Played.
  15. Should have been an even better weekend on the betting front. Stuck £25 in-play on Barca to win (at 1-1) and Napoli to draw (at 0-1). Stupidly didn't check the games as they were going on and of course if I did, I'd have laid when Napoli-Bologna went to 2-2 in the 86th minute (with Barca out of sight). Entirely my own fault I didn't guarantee myself a profit of course, but I'm impressed Napoli actually managed to get beat.
  16. Incidents being blatant haven't stopped other managers try to defend their players in such situations and attempt to mitigate the circumstances. I personally think the FA will see this as an opportunity to throw the book at someone - to be seen to be doing their job. Trial by media, as per.
  17. Not sure what to make about Moyes' comments on Fellaini. On one hand I'm delighted we have such a straight-talking manager who'll call it how he sees it. Let's be honest, a whole host of managers would've tried to claim they didn't see it, or that it was a bit of a grey area. Fellaini was a fucking moron and he pointed it out as such. Yet I can't help wonder if he'd adopted the approach of some managers of the "top" clubs in this league, the ban won't be as harsh (of course time will tell on that). Ferguson, Wenger, Rodgers and more.... would they have said what Moyes said? It shouldn't work like that, no, but we know how the FA works. I expect Fellaini to be made an example of, as opposed to Moyes' comments and Fellaini's swift apology actually doing any good. Biased view: Wish referees would, conversely, start doing something about opposition players grappling Fellaini for every set piece. Gets fuck all protection from the referee. All you'd ask is for some consistency, not penalise him just because he's big.
  18. A very rare, lucky weekend for me. Had a treble of QPR, Norwich and Shrewsbury yesterday which returned a tad over £100. Then a 4-fold BTTS European accy today which returned £120. Pretty sure whenever I don't post it on here, I do fine. Fuck you, N-O.

Mirallas has looked very good this season. Very unlucky not to have scored more. Engineered some good openings for himself and has a bit of pace to him. Was a bit disappointed when I discovered FF had classified him as a Forward. Think you've missed him. Yup, he looks really good which is why it's so frustrating he's missing games. Presuming he's out for our next few games then he will have barely played half our league games up to that point. That's a worry. The point is, stuff like "well he'll want to play" - so what? I'd bloody well hope a professional footballer would want to play. If he's injured, he's injured, imagine the fallout if he plays tomorrow and is out for a longer spell with a torn hamstring or something similar. I'm no medical expert but hamstrings are surely one thing you don't piss around with? If there's a consistency to the injuries you're getting then that's what the club's time should be spent focussing on, not blindly rolling the dice with your best player's fitness.
