  1. Defoe first team goalscorer, 4/1. Spurs over 1.5 goals Man Utd over 2.5 goals
  2. Erm... have I missed something? Defoe is 4/1 for first TEAM goalscorer. He's 10/3 for FGS for the match. Get your debit card quickly Beren! Or have I misunderstood?
  3. TT, do you mean the £10 free bet or the £5 initial bet has to be a single? i.e. the same as what Mistle said?
  4. Regarding the Skybet offer of entering 'BET', putting £5 "on any market" then getting a "£10 free bet", does that fiver "on any market" mean I can stick an accy on and then qualify for the £10 free bet, or do I have to place it as a single? And similarly, does the £10 free bet have strings attached?
  5. He's been very good for 18 months, not 6. Can't agree personally. He was awful when he first joined, has improved to "decent" and delivered some very good performances. Wouldn't say he's been very good consistently, not at all. Haddaway, he's been easily their most consistent performer. One of their few that has put in good performances consistently, infact. Honestly, I haven't really seen it, and I'm trying not to be biased. We'll agree to disagree. Not really seen much in him to suggest he's more than a decent player who can sometimes turn in good performances. More generally, Liverpool will not be going far if they're relying on Lucas to be a key player.

    Sunderland...

Frankly, it's no conincidence they've been particularly shit since Bent left. Despite playing shite football they could rely on "DB" to get them a goal, and that's exactly what they did - far too much. Since he's left they've been fully exposed for what they are. Sunderland don't have the appeal nor does Steve Bruce have the skills, to turn around what was and still is a sinking ship. His last throw of the dice was to buy a large collection of mediocre players in the blind hope they'd magically work together. Guess what? They didn't.

  8. I've been a massive critic of Lucas but even I have to admit he's improved a fair bit over the last 6 months. Still don't think he's been as great as some make out, mind.
  9. Ladies and gentlemen. It's time. http://files.sharenator.com/Aww_Yeah_meme_Meme_Faces_s250x196_156976_580_RE_resurrection-s250x196-170614.png

  11. 2-0 Bartttthhhhha, Sanchez again.
  12. Sanchez, 1-0 Barca. Sexy goal. Barca have struggled so far, mind.
  13. Cardiff 1-0 Blackburn. Hardly a shock.
  14. Iniesta nearly casually scoring from 55 yards.
  15. It's a great chance to see United and United's youngsters.
  16. I do this. A lot I can see it tomorrow. "£20 [sizeable single bet for me] on this safe-looking double, returns £40. Will start off safe to build up some money." "Oh and against all the odds, Team X have somehow not won this game!" Proceed to start chucking away money on increasingly unlikely accumulators. "My money's all gone."
