  1. We'll swap you a defender in return for a striker.
  2. Oh, right, cool. Obviously I meant in balancing it out in Liverpool terms. Unfortunately it wont make it up for you, so, sorry about that. On a side note, got any thoughts about Yakubu's current form? What form? He's always liable to have a game like he did on Saturday. Once he's in the box he's still a very useful player. He's scored 9 in 9. You've got no strikers. You make it sound like I endorsed us getting rid of him? Nah, just wondered what you thought of the fatty's form since leaving tbh. Seems a bit cheap at £1.5 million. Didn't know he had 9 in 9. Can't say I'm surprised - he attracts plenty of criticism but his goalscoring record speaks for itself. Got a very bad injury for us after he'd got 21 goals the previous season; was a fraction of the player when he came back. As for the price, it just reflects what I've said a few times about Moyes having his favourites. Post-injury Yakubu was not one of his favourites, hence he was out the door. I thought he still had something to give us even if he wasn't as good as the 07/08 season.

I had a bet on him staying.

  6. Replays show Suarez's teeth were offside in the build up to the 5th goal for Dalglish. Goal disallowed.
  7. There's Glen Johnson demonstrating his footballing aptitude by letting Murphy go onto his right side with consummate ease.
  8. Brilliant attempt from Dempsey.
  9. Who's Swalez, Ray, you insufferable twat?
  10. An amateur player finished 3rd.
  11. I brought in Welbeck yesterday. 6.6 - goalscorer, with Hernandez out, Rooney in midfield, Man Utd are home to fodder [And, he actually seems like a nice-ish guy and a talented stylish footballer - so I've broken my 'no Man Utd players' rule to bring him into the side!] Is Welbeck still not injured? Haven't paid much attention admittedly.
  12. Sturridge is 6.7m?! What the fuck! GOODBYE WAYNE.
  13. I think the time has finally come this week to do the same. But I just know he's going to end his barren streak as soon as I do so.
  14. I fucking hate Robin van Persie. Leader in our main league where we're playing for money got 30 more points than me this week, all down to RVP. Carrying so many teams. I should really put him in, shouldn't I? Can't afford him.
  15. Won a whole £12 on a truly unexciting treble of Juve, Osasuna DNB and Schalke. Was going to go Juve and Schalke -1 and Osasuna for the straight win, but thought better of it due to how unlucky/useless I am. Annoying. Oh well. Definitely rinsed the bookies.
  16. I think that's what they call justice.
  17. Moyes needs shooting with shit for his tactics today, which are representative of an awful lot of home games we have. Negative, dour bollocks and only late on does he think, "wow, I'd best change this." I'm hugely appreciative of what he's done in the past for us but you get an incredible amount of fawning over him in the media. It's as though we're not allowed to criticise him. He's tactically poor time and time again and his selections are questionable on a very frequent basis. 4-5-1 at home isn't a good start but it's workable; it's not workable when the striker gets fuck all support. As for the referee, the less said about Lee Mason the better. A quite incredible catalogue of decisions, including 2 legitimate penalty claims; summed up at the end when Coleman got completely taken out and the ref didn't even give a foul. But it's OK, because with this, the Rodwell sending off in the derby, the Gosling handball, the decisions even themselves out, right? Oh.
