  1. First 70 minutes was a damn good away performance. Ultimately though you were extremely lucky to win that. Should've been a penalty against S. Taylor, and although I haven't seen a decisive replay, it certainly didn't look like the whole ball was out before Wolves' disallowed goal. Still, you have to take what you can get and ride your luck. Every result isn't going to directly reflect the relevant performance in that match. Up until the last 10 minutes, I thought your performance was assured and professional, and Wolves were looking fairly desperate. It was a clear case of one side having confidence and one side lacking it.
  2. odd is an understatement, remember in the same game I think Kuyt not getting sent off for flying into tackle both feet way off the ground and studs up and Carragher literally pulling an Everton player to the ground in the box and no penalty given Nah, it's just us bitter Bluenoses complaining.
  3. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say, well, we were 2nd best fair and square. What can you expect when our players go flying into challenges and clearly win the ball? It's always going to be a red card.
  4. Sorry. :'( Right I'm off to watch this feast of football.
  5. Copied from a forum, but apparently: Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Rodwell, Fellaini, Osman, Coleman, Cahill, Saha RS: Reina Kelly Skrtel Carragher Enrique Kuyt Adam Lucas Downing Suarez Carroll
  6. Ridiculously generous considering how poorly Villa have played.
  7. Moyes is "hopeful" on Cahill, Disco. The man loves TC and especially for a derby if he reckons he can play at all, he will play. Drenthe better start and let's just fucking attack them, none of this "let's keep it tight" bollocks. Go after their questionable defence and get into Henderson/Lucas/Adam and stop balls getting into that grade A twat they have up front. Lads on the forum seem to think Saha is starting as well, although he does have the alarming attribute of being classed as something called a "striker" so will have to hang fire on that one. Both sides will look at the other and think they can win it. If I had to bet on an outcome it'd have to be a draw. The bookies are being harsh on us though. Not sure what Liverpool have done to justify being clear-ish favourites for this (7/5 - we're 21/10). Quite a big game this, actually, in the context of things. If we get beat it's not the be all and end all to our season, but looking at the fixtures we're in the middle of, we have to earmark this game as a realistic chance of a win.
  8. 2 Saturday lunchtimes in a row, grrr.

  10. Think our derby will be a draw. So a decisive win one way or the other it is then. Got to feel a bit sorry for Bolton like. 5 of last season's top 6 in the first 7 games.
  11. Paddy Power are doing an "offer" for Ireland vs. Italy in the rugby. I'm not a rugby expert however, so any help would be appreciated. Apparently the -12 handicap is evens normally, however they're offering 2/1. Is that actually great value?

  13. Predictable. Spurs could've been 3-0 up by HT, Shamrock somehow held firm, nicked a goal but once Spurs equalised there was only 1 winner. While SR can be fairly proud of the account they gave, it could've been 6-1 and they would have had no complaints.
  14. Eh? Isn't Bosingwa raking in the points?
  15. Very pleased I didn't do this! As I say, all logic pointed to Bilbao not winning. So naturally they're 2-0 up at half time. You didn't factor in the fact that PSG DNB was a part of my bet tonight. Well then, stop using common sense in your bets. Oh, look at PSG doing very well. Oh, look at Bilbao doing very poorly. Cue 2-0 to Bilbao and PSG down to 10.
