Just symbolic of this bizarre season. 10-12 games ago, West Brom were surefire safety, top 10 beckoned. And now they've become, in my eyes, one of the favourites for the drop.

What did people make of the officiating? I thought it was generally abysmal. Best was clearly onside, however I thought the 2nd penalty was ridiculously soft, I'd have been fuming if the ref had given that against my team.

It's sadly inevitable that 3 superb games (Everton, Wigan, Stoke) will all come after Man Utd (need to show them near the top of the show), Man City (Tevez hatrick), and Spurs (last minute winner). Those teams will cater to the masses more and unfortunately, I'd be surprised if any of the first 3 games I mentioned come before any of the last 3. Such is the status quo.
