O'Neill, Moyes, Hughes, Bruce, etc etc. All much of a muchness, and none of them are any better than Hughton. None of them can coach or build a team into playing good, entertaining football, it's all about hard work, getting stuck in, getting players who are a physical threat, and buying enough average players with Premiership/top flight experience to ensure the squad isn't too exposed after a few injuries. Had we given Hughton time and a reasonable amount of money to replace substandard dross like Smith, Xisco, Lovenkrands, Best, Guthrie, etc etc, he'd probably have achieved what they did. 100% wrong. Otherwise, completely stunned at this news.

Apart from that though, he's a surefire appointment.

O'Neill out.

Opposition teams will be ra-... rapidly.. not... winning games... against you.

A loss and it's curtains... for getting 3 points from this game. You Evertonians shouldn't be allowed on here. You're just far too level headed. Whats wrong with having bi-polar mood swings and knee jerking like we do ? Frankly at the moment with the way we start seasons, it's just optimistic faith in hoping things will get better. If we don't laugh, we'll cry. I reckon you'll get something from this - if Nolan/Barton are back. Unfortunately Carragher's out.

Nowt wrong with trademark celebrations, they're fun.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. In fact, if I can, I'll put that on now - win against Liverpool and lose at Brum.

I thought yesterday he actually showed a bit of movement - which of course is saying more about how dreadful Ameobi is admittedly - got a goal and didn't look that bad. Does this mean he's suddenly cut out for this level? Of course not, but to criticise him so heavily on yesterday's performance is bamboozling.

Fucking hell. Didn't know they were so far ahead. Goals for and against far superior to anyone else's record, too.
-
Sunderland winning this because they're not as bad as West Ham. Parker.

Cole is so getting sent off.

They just ate their post-match pizza in there instead of the bus. That'll teach 'em.

Gah, never mind.

Takeaway Tiote today and it could have been 5 or 6. That doesn't really make sense, unless he cleared a load off the line. Which he didn't. It was a shoehorned pun.

Not in your ears?

He's playing.

Wolves look like they've been decent in a lot of games this year but don't get the points for it. Them staying up isn't that unlikely.
-
Bear in mind they are playing West Ham at home. It's hard not to look decent against them.
-
West Ham's defending, my word.

Anything happened in this game? Just tuned in.

A decent team? To say that after today shows a complete lack of understanding. They were fucking terrible, how many times did they give us the ball but we couldnt do fuck all with it? They showed they had absolutely nothing, they were appalling and we were much, much worse. Just cos they beat Everton it doesnt mean they're decent, remember we beat you at Goodison as well. And they punished us both for poor performances. They're a decent team playing some decent stuff, I'm not sure how that isn't very clear. They won't finish as high as they are currently but their form over the course of this season indicates they'll probably finish above at least 7 or so others.

Please fucking smash them to bits.
