What games did you get to when you went to SA, Disco? You got to a couple of Argentina Apetura matches, right? May have made that up. What did you make of them? Passion? Quality?
-
Hope the young lads impress tomorrow, especially Carroll; and if they don't, they're not immediately and outrageously discarded as "not good enough" by the media and the likes.
-
It was a makeshift team in defence perhaps, but the team generally was still comfortably good enough to see off a team of Sunderland's quality. It was the fact their players went into that match with that lousy attitude, that made it easy for Sunderland. Credit to them as they played some good stuff and took full advantage of Chelsea's shortcomings but it's hard to overstate how bad Chelsea were. Possibly the worst I've seen them in the Roman era.

And the away win at Everton, and Arsenal, and hammering Villa, beating Chelsea in the cup, outplaying Man City... quite a lot of paper we've got over those cracks. Pedantic perhaps, but I disagree about you "outplaying" Man City. 2 big decisions went wrongly against you so if we're using those incidents then yes, you should have absolutely got something from the game. However I can't remember you outplaying them. Feel free to correct this.

What was his explanation like? Did he blame everyone but himself?
-
I should point this isn't an excuse for the rest of our performance, barring the last 10 minutes. We deserved nothing out of the game but I can't help feel that against 10 men, the fightback would have started earlier.
-
Thing was, it was a clear goalscoring opportunity, meaning surely he had to be sent off? If we're using some consistency (which increasingly doesn't seem to exist in refereeing), if Koscielny's last week was a red, then Squillaci had to walk.

Gash: what did you make of the game? Personally I was hugely disappointed with our performance, because although you won, I can't help feel it was down to us barely giving you a game tbh. You were a million miles from great yourselves hence why I'm gutted we couldn't have really taken it to you (bar the last 10 minutes when we decided we'd actually wake up.) Nice 2nd goal, mind. At that point I thought it could have easily been 3 or 4, I thought we'd crumble.

You go, sister. Of course every team gets shit decisions. I think it's fair to say though we've had more than our fair share over the years, and today was another example.
-
You guys have issues with Webb and Clattenburg too? Have you seen the decisions Webb gives against us everytime he refs our games. How he's still allowed to ref our games is a complete joke. "Issues with Clattenburg" doesn't cut it. Impressive how he managed to generate so much justified hate from Everton fans all within 1 game.

I cry myself to sleep at night with thoughts of what Ibrahim Bakayoko could have been.

  Your posts make me raise a smile, EG. Cheers.

Put it this way, your quality of play wasn't much better than our 1st half today against Arsenal. I hope that doesn't depress you too much.

I enjoy the enthusiasm in Italian commentary. StankoVEEEEEEEEEECH

Seedorf still produces some excellent passing at times.

Sehr close Wesley.

Much better from Inter.
-
Is this a double sub from Inter already?
-
Because Ronaldinho doesn't deserve to be on the field? I think Felipao is a bit Brazillian.
-
What were they? Disallowed Robinho goal - rightly so.
-
Nah I think Rafa's class. A real gentleman too.

No. You can set how your captain is chosen if your normal one doesn't work - either by form or value. So say I made Xisco captain (knowing he'll not play) and Bale gets 20 points that day. Bale has better form so he's automatically made captain? Just trying to get my head around this. If the captain you chose doesn't play, yes, the player who was in the best form going into that gameweek would become captain and have his points doubled. It doesn't just automatically go to the one with the highest points. I'd dare say that wouldn't make much sense. I'm not really sure how they quantify 'form' so as to rank everyone, mind.

Milan have had 2 golden opportunities aside from the goal. This is amusing defending from Inter.

Even Eto'o who has been brilliant is ridiculously ball greedy. He's always been like that hasn't he?
