Probably, which it makes all the better. He's really not be taken seriously, but hell, give me him over most of the bland shitearses in this country.

Cooler than a polar bear's backside, he puts it in, not like a wheelbarrow of sledgehammers.

  7. The highlight of the entire game was probably Casemiro's 3rd act of battery. Dunga Style.
  8. A spectacular 1-0 thrashing of Honduras.

For English people and mentality someone with a foreign name is better valued and looked more sophisticated than someone local. He's a decent manager as far as I can see. Had some successes, had some failures. He'll likely get you into the top 10, and at least give you a team to get behind. Not that much of this matters anyway because of the owner who will choke any ambition. So in that sense, it simply does not matter.

    EthiGeordie's getting arrested? Eh?
  14. Confusing given the Vidal signing. Trying to get a decent price?
  15. bet365 will love this offer. Those who have their head screwed on can make money, and occasionally win big. But there'll be plenty of idiots who don't even understand the basic rules of the offer and lose money, not to mention people who get the tiny profit, then end up losing money on subsequent bets. Guess who wins again. This offer is here to stay as far as I can see.
  16. There is a certain romanticism about winning the World Cup and him winning it last year would have been great and yes it's a shame he hasn't, but consistently destroying the best teams in the world is more than enough evidence in my book about his greatness.
  17. Average first half, second half he remembered he's the best of his generation and started skinning Juve players for fun and essentially won the game for Barca. By his standards, not even a particularly great game. That's the standard we're talking about.
  18. Had my in play 50 on 3-1 Barca, got it on straight away which is a good thing given the early goal. While I think its safe to say I got lucky with the last second 3rd, I couldn't believe my eyes in the 10-15 mins previous to that seeing Barca fuck up countless opportunities. Slightly ironic Neymar, who was the main culprit, ended up making me money. Had 3-1 to the home side in both of Barca's semi final legs, glad my instinct came through for once! Well done Wullie, what you have?
  19. Just won £650, can't breathe either. Came very close on several of these in play bets, finally got it nailed on. Really fancied 3-1 and followed through. Fuck yes.
  20. Obviously I speak from a less personally invested viewpoint compared to you guys, but even though much of his career was before my time, I don't think there's one figure in football I can say I have more respect for than this man. He was a gentlemanly world class manager, and he was a world class gentleman. Very, very rare to see such professional, top-level longevity mixed with such grace, dignity and class.

I think he's a decent enough manager. Should you be aiming higher? Probably. But he'd be a decent appointment and would get you upwardly mobile. Of course, it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things as there's a very distinct ceiling with the current owner.
  22. Thoughts on Stabaek today Tom, is 2/1 good value?
  23. I think it was KI who hit the nail on the head - the difference is the things Messi can do which Ronaldo can't are more impressive than the things Ronaldo can do but Messi can't. Ronaldo is an incredible machine. Messi is simply a genius. And that will always elevate him above Ronaldo.
