Brazil + Messi + Tim Howard vs Spain + Ronaldo. Are you serious? Wtf is Tim Howard doing there? I'm American, man. I'm biased. 3rd best keeper.
-
Fuuuuuuuuuuuucking stupid cunt. They got exactly the same didn't they: 9? I've probably not fully understood the rules like. Oh well.
-
For the record, the group bets I'm holding some hope out for are, in decreasing order of chance: Argies, Brazil, Spain and Holland to get 7 or 9 points: £10 pays £83. Argies, Spain and Holland to get 9: £2.50 pays £105. Argies, Spain, Holland and Brazil to get 9: £1 pays £147 (as well as the 2 other bets coming in). Howay perfect records!

If Holland, Spain, Brazil and Argies all get 9 points I'll have made a very tidy profit. Long, long way to go yet though. 7 or 9 points for each would probably see me up as well.

Just had a look at how mine are doing for the first time. A tad better than expected, couple of goals for Villa and a clean sheet would be welcomed tomorrow.

Germany. Fairly impressed but nothing more than that. Just a case of being ruthless against a poor side defending dreadfully and on the wrong end of an awful red card decision. Streets ahead of England though. They could keep possession with a series of basic passes and very simple movement. Motorways ahead unfortunately.

I can barely remember not enjoying watching Brazil but tonight, this happened.
-
Not sure if it was mentioned earlier but the tournament so far can unfortunately be summed up with one small act: Ivory Coast, last minute against Portugal, taking a short corner and not crossing it. Just depressing. I can understand a team like North Korea doing it however.
-
I think that 1st half was important for Brazil, even if they do go on to win by a few. They've shown a poor attitude and will rightly be criticised.
-
Still think 3-0. 63rd, 72nd and 77th minute. Hope I'm wrong like. Would be an amazing story if they could hold on.
-
North Korea have been solid and fair play to them, but Brazil's lazy one-pace approach isn't particularly stretching them. What's the point in having Gilberto Silva and Melo both on the pitch? And why is Elano there full stop?

£14 on Brazil -2, Chile and Spain -1. Returns £100. £2 on Brazil -4 and Spain -2, for the hell of it. Returns £48. Lucio FGS 5-0, 50p @ 130/1. Kaka FGS 4-0, £1 @ 22/1.

This is the main point. The reliance on him will be absolutely massive and, barring the odd game, I can see that trust and reliance being completely misplaced = as you say, disaster.
-
lol wut? Looking at this WC anything can happen. New Zealand got a point FFS. You're having a laugh, right? New Zealand getting a point against an average side... bit different to North Korea beating Brazil or even getting a draw.

Favourites in my book. Dunga has them all pulling in the same direction, didn't mind leaving Ronaldinho and Adriano behind, and I'd dare say Brazil will still be lovely to watch. Perhaps not entirely spectacular but fluid and of course oh so comfortable on the ball.
-
Slovakia -1 and Brazil -2 is a tasty looking 4/1.
-
No. B-b-but.. I thought you won every bet.
-
Certainly one of the better halves this World Cup so far.
-
You know the game's bad when we don't even hear a Jonathan Pearce "splendid!"
-
Lineker's trying his best to hold the half-time together due to the total lack of anything to talk about.
-
Damn. I guessed 15,000. Better luck next time hopefully.
