Newcastle United vs. Everton: 25/05/25 @ 16:00 (No UK TV)

I think he'll play, but we're good enough to win it without him. Much more confident looking at Everton's defensive injuries. -

No reason to think we won't beat this lot. -
We didn't look toothless in the first half mind.
-
Think if we score early we'll be fine.
-
There's a difference between being confident and thinking it's a gimme.
-
If we keep this up this is they're there for the taking.
-
Been the better team, hope we make it count.

Raya is having a stormer.
-
We look dangerous on the break
-
Really good save like.

Arsenal vs. Newcastle United: 18/05/25 @ 16:30 (Sky Sports)

Not that it's worth much, but it always felt that it would be a game won and lost by set pieces. -

Sure, but when they realise his movement is restricted and he's not going to be his electric best, it doesn't pan out like that. -

Still think it was a good point. Kept our destiny in our hands. -

You'd imagine the idea is if we win, he won't play again this season. -

Probably a smart move given he's been really struggling of late. -
Aye, looks a good player.

Scrap that, just seen Branthwaite went off clutching his hamstring. -
That's Branthwaite out of next week then.

I'm in two minds about it. They've improved of late and have made themselves hard to beat, particularly away from home. On the other hand they have nothing to play for and could well still be hungover from today. If we get into them early, I'm not sure they'll fancy it. -

Oh course, but the worrying and stressing about permutations is futile, especially when Forest's game doesn’t really do much for us. Favourable results are more in hope than expectation, we're still really nicely placed. -

Can see it bring a bit of a shit/nervy watch. Arsenal are a bit of an eyesore at the best of times. -

The Prophet replied to Rich's topic in Football
While it's in our hands, I just don't see the point in worrying about other results, Forest's in particular. I did it last time and it sucked all of the enjoyment out of the experience. It's incredibly unlikely that Forest catch us and if they do it means that Chelsea might not. Yeah it'd be better if they have something to play for next week, but the City Ground will be bouncing anyway, so we're probably talking marginal gains. -

Couldn't give a flying fuck what Forest do tbh. Just need our boys to win one more.
