I'd love Bobb here, very jealous of that. Can guarantee City will still have their hooks in though.

It's a strange one. His development seems to have stalled at Spurs with fans keen to shift him. On the other hand, he looked handy at Forest, so a fresh start might do him some good.

It's probably best to just get offline to be honest. I shouldn't of come back, it genuinely makes the supporter experience worse, even when things are going well. -
I think the comms around the whole thing has been awful.
-
I personally think it's premature to completely write off Elanga, but good to see our first real dud in many a teansfer market would give some folk the stick they've been craving to beat the transfer policy with.

It does if you're starting from ground zero (i.e Charnley and a couple of administrators), then your CEO is absent for at least six months without being replaced.

If Real are interested, we won't have a sniff.

I completely agree getting his ideas across during a European campaign is something Eddie needs to add to his armoury, but it's his second attempt at it. The first was on the midst of an insane injury crisis. Both him and the squad deserve a bit of patience on that front.

A hill I'd happily die on is a few fans made their mind up early on that he wasn't the man to take us forward and they've been seeking confirmation bias ever since. It's the same names that consistently pop up when there's been a bad run of results or a perceived crisis.

"It could prevent them from signing Will Osula, unless they sign both." Well, yeah.

I'd argue it's a mix of everything... Mentality: We've undoubtedly lost belief and the edge that made us so formidable to play against. Late concessions, losing duels and struggling to hold onto the leads is more than systemic. Personnel issues: Our keepers don't save enough, we're currenty having to play two front footed centre backs, our full backs have been injured for long periods, arguably our best centre mid has lost form and our only fully fit forward doesn't attack the goal enough. These are all individual rather than systemic issues. System issues: The forward line still look unfamiliar with each other and are having to develop relationships on the hoof. Our set pieces have also been pretty poor both from an offensive and defensive point of view. These are the main two for me anyway.

I don't think our 4-3-3 is rigid at all, if anything it's quite fluid. I'd also argue oaks s of sides don't play with a ten. If anything, they're a bit of a rarity these days.

That data also suggests that we're desperate for a new keeper.
-
Are Palace just knackered?
-
That's fair enough, but also kind of my point. You could make a case either way, particularly when overall, under Howe we tend to do alright in the cups. Surely if you do get rid of Howe, you do it for a significant upgrade?
-
I like Glasner, top coach. But given Howe has also established himself as a decent cup manager, surely if you're wanting to trade up, you'd be looking for more than that.
-
Has Glasner shown anything to suggest he'd be a significant upgrade on Howe? I'd put them in a very similar bracket.
-
Just keep Howe if those are the available options.
-
Two things that I think we have lost that data can't capture is our box defending and our mental toughness. Some of the goals we conceded are so soft.

Am I imagining it or have they cut right back on stoppage time?
-
We played well away to Arsenal. Raya was MotM.
-
That looked very tight, no replay?

Temporal awareness, reminds me of Joey using the thesaurus in Friends.
