Had calmed down about this until Swan mentioned it on the cricket.

VAR maintaining the status quo at the Hill Dick.

Newcastle United 2-2 Chelsea (20/12/25) | post-match from pg. 45

I think it's a penalty. You can see from the still he comes across the man and doesn't take the ball until he's fouled him. It supports the case for me. -

Excellent stuff. Obvious point, but the next goal is yuge. If we get it we could steam roll them, if we don't it'll be nervy as fuck. -

These are the ones that shouldn't be going to VAR. -

Away from home, they're a bit like we were up until this season. They put the trash away, but struggle travelling to the better sides. -
Murphy looks no where near ready for PL football.

Him and Anderson actually giving me dime optimism in our academy. -

For the first time in ages I think we're too long with the bookies. 2/1 is a great price. It's the classic game we turn up for. Plus Chelsea struggle away from home to decent sides. -
...but it doesn't because every signing is different.
-
It's comparable in that both have been called a waste of money because they've struggling to get on the pitch. Fair enough, it makes a mockery of buying Premier League proven, but who knows why he's being held back it could be physical, mental or tactical. For Hall it was two of the three.
-
...but take Ramsey for example. It's fair to say he hasn't justified paying a Premier League premium for because he's had limited minutes and he hasn't really made an impact when he has played. But we've seen far too little of him to say definitively say he's shite or a waste of money. We had the same kind of comments about Lewis Hall not too long ago.

Emptied the bench and steam rolled them.

Go on Cardiff.

If you want some optimism, we were on a half decent run until Sunday. -
Summer 23/24 was down to the PSR nonsense. This season was down to the lack of executive leadership and the Isak saga. He's not blameless, but it's a reach to suggest he's at fault for either.
-
It would be nice for us to come into the season off the back of a stress free summer. The last couple have been bin fires and put us on the back foot from the off.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but getting stuck into players at the match doesn't scream "supporter".
