It was an unnamed West Ham executive saying he thinks he could join Everton, means nothing. Christ, half the forum need putting on suicide watch.

Nolan's greed, Carroll's greed, Enrique's greed, Keegan's greed. In January it will be Ben Arfa or Tiote's greed no doubt.
-
Both would be a massive improvement on what we already have.

How dare you speak about mimi like that.

Gordon is s****! Sessegnon is inconsistent. Bardsley is the only Mackem I would see in our team. Gordon is far from shit, I'd have him over Harper every day of the week. Sessegnon is inconsistent but he's got ability, has the potential to settle next season too.

Because the goal keepers in the Premier League are so much better than in France? Nah

Spot on. The thought of him and Ba as our strikeforce is worrying (for us) though. He's a canny player, not sure he'd be prolific though. Having said that, it's diffiuclt to say until you see how he fits into the system we'd play. But surely he'd play behind the striker? He's not an attacking midfielder, but I'm not convinced he is a striker either. He's a support striker and if he's supporting Ba ... I'm not convinced that will work. If we had a quick, effective finisher to play in front of him, I would be less concerned. He is a good player, but an average striker. Hopefully we'll be looking at someone like El-Arabi to complement his style of play. Although last season was very much a confidence thing, he's never been and out-and-out goal scorer. I still think the price we'd be paying is fair though, given his ability, work rate and the fact he'd be a massive improvement on anyone currently at the club.

From the two quotes on the previous page, where has Pardew said that?

I'd have Gordon, Bardsley, Sessegnon and Gyan here in a flash like.

Just my two cents on Erding. He's a grafter, battles his arse off whenever I've seen him. He's quick, links up play well and isn't bad in the air either. Lost his confidence in front of goal big time second half of last season though. Gala have been sniffing round him for a while too.
-
It's interesting to note the difference in reaction to the Erding and Gameiro links, despite few knowing fuck all about either. I knew next to nothing about the latter, but Erding is a good player.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

what's the last sentence all about? He'll be banging down the door. -
He still passes as a Premier League footballer?

How so? If we're in the running for him of course I don't see how we can compete with Spurs at present, they're miles ahead of us. And isn't that what everyone says when people complain about spending f*** all anyway? I think we're in for him, but it seems odd Lille said Spurs are the only club to have made a bid. I wouldn't say it's the end of the line but it makes a difficult task that little bit harder.

Replacement for VdV. You heard it here first. Tedious

Would have made Sturridge our number one target this summer. Not sure he would come here like.
