How cab you chalk it up to Fav? Even Downie has just said we've put a new bid in, why would we do that if we've already agreed a deal as per Fab?
Which is the amount Fabrizio states we've already agreed with Watford
Downie could be a bit behind

I wouldn't expect Howe to say anything else until medical etc is done
The fact he didn't dismiss it speaks volumes

Shit that already looks like there'll likely be no title race this year
People said that last year in Jan but we still ended up with a title race and exciting finish
Would not rule it out just yet

It's really refreshing seeing Man City and Liverpool not looking invincible and on a different planet to the rest of the league, long may it continue.
Tbf, City were until they faced us :-)

Quality from Sancho that

Liverpool looking a tad vulnerable early doors

Have we seen the footage of Man United fans thinking they were attacking a Liverpool bus, chucking beer cans at it and calling them murderers, etc? It turns out the bus was a bunch of Man United supporting kids.
Where can this footage be seen?

Aye and I could see our club being interested in Southgate at some point in time. I doubt Howe will leave us anytime soon though!
I bloody hope not
Something will have gone seriously wrong if we ever appoint Southgate

From what I recall Allan's was more studs and a lot more excessive whilst Tripper was more of a trip
Though I'm probably being a little bit biased

You are being misled by peer pressure and assume Pickford is a great goalkeeper. Seriously, he's the opposite. You also think Harry Maguire and Tyron Mings are international class don't you? Because the "experts" told you.
Why are you waffling?
Why don't you just answer the question?
And if you are going to waffle some more then don't bother as this thread has been derailed enough.

Rubbish.
If it's rubbish you'll have a number of examples of where he's let England down?
(Don't bring Everton examples as we are all aware he's had plenty of howlers for them)

Pickford should be nowhere near the England team. I honestly mean that. Nowt to do with his mackem connections. I just think he's a hopeless goalkeeper. Why Southgate picks him is beyond belief.
He's been good for England and his distribution is very good, it makes sense why he keeps getting picked

Lush assist from Lewandowski this time, Fati with the finish
Okay, he got quite lucky with the deflection, still overall the goal was canny

Canny goal that. Always forget Fati exists.
Poor lad has been riddled with injuries, hopefully he can have a clear run as he can go far

Good finish by Dembele to give Barca the lead
Also, I really like those 8k celebration cameras, would like to see them in the PL

The way Pep speaks about Howe and Newcatsle is the reason I hate Klopp, I hope that makes sense to everyone.
Although Klopp did go up a few points in my estimation after having a pop at Agbonlahor.
Either way my point is that I'm pleased we have Howe who I think is now going to be getting far more credit than he has done rather than people just immediately throwing in the fact we've spent a few millions since he came in.
I'm a bit of a Pep fanboy so not really objective on this but I've always said Pep is usually very gracious in defeat/draws, can be a bit odd in his interviews but he praises the opposition
He was very complimentary towards us when we beat them under Rafa, even though our tactics were very pragmatic, this time we were more expansive and he gave us credit too
Klopp came to the league and he was a breath of fresh air but as time has gone on he's become an absolute bore, deals very badly with defeats/draws, has digs at teams that don't just roll over for his side, can't stand him now even if I do recognise what a brilliant manager/coach he is
-
I personally don't understand this clamour for pragmatism against certain sides, I much prefer us giving it a go and trying to get something from the game, could easily have won today but I also accept it could have been a thumping if things didn't go right but a bit odd to worry about that unless it's a regular occurrence during matches, which so far it isn't
Our situation has changed, under Rafa I totally understood the approach he took, it made sense and avoiding a hammering was important because GD towards the bottom is far more critical and also getting hammered when your only aim is to just stay up can be demoralising
The good thing is we aren't that team anymore, it's not just about staying up, it's about trying to be the best we can be and compete as much as possible so pragmatism isn't something to clamour for imo

If it is the food bank donation they are deliberately misrepresenting that's pretty awful.
That's exactly what they are doing and now they have said it enough times the doylems believe it

He's amazing. That's it.

They are such fine upstanding and moral citizens that they would not have been cheering City on, they care so much about Yemen that them cheering on thr Abu Dhabi regime surely wouldn't be something they do? Surely not?

He'd get exposed there too, he doesn't have the positional discipline to survive there
