Fofana had another good game today, we should throw money at him and get him signed before Leeds Him instead of Longstaff improves our midfield tenfold
-
I agree with that, the improvement has not been enough I'm just not ready to start calling for Howe to go, far too soon for that and I think ultimately he was chosen because when we go down then he has experience of getting promoted from The Championship
-
I'm not saying 29.55 is great, I'm just pointing out that in comparison to Bruce it's better Let's not forget we had a decent set of fixtures under Bruce too but he blew in, that's where the foundation of our problems started
-
No impact whatsoever is a bit harsh imo, I understand the late equaliser hurts and emotions are running high Bruce had 3 points from 8 games, across a full season that's 14.25 points Howe has 7 points from 9 games, across a full season that's 29.55 points So there is an improvement, unfortunately it's not enough of an improvement Plus you add in this isn't his squad, I'm willing to reserve judgement on him
-
I mean, I'll look at it as Bruce/Ashley taking us down The problems started before Howe and have continued with Howe, not his players, I'll happily give him time
-
Not his players, they have shown they have an absolute pathetic and weak mentality Not going to judge Howe so soon, getting rid of him would be irrelevant. I don't think anyone saves us and I would trust him to get us promoted
-
13 isn't it
-
If the Gosens links are accurate then it suggests Howe wants to move to a back 5
-
Grealish should be scoring that, big chance
-
1) Kamara 2) Carlos 3) Fofana
-
He really isn't Up until the World Cup he was brilliant, amongst the top CB's out there but the knee injury he picked up has ruined him Since then he's always picking up injuries but also always looks out of shape, even injuries aside he's all over the shop when he has played I would absolutely avoid him at all costs
-
Nope, not sure how people keep getting it wrong like but the deadline is tomorrow The Brighton-Palace game is irrelevant as we don't intend on playing him in that fixture
-
Yes, you are right, he's under investigation, still a big risk to take
-
Yeah, Fofana and Kamara can easily play in the same midfield as they are very different players Just signing those two transforms our team tenfold
-
Canny brave move that would be considering he has a pending court case

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Hopefully we have some agreement in place for him to get a decent amount of minutes Looking at the table they are in between relegation and play off spots, likely to stay around there so it's not a bad club to join as that should mean he can get a run of games as there won't be significant pressure -

And Wood also offers something aside from goals He's brilliant in the air and he does well to hold up the ball and allow others in to play It's key we get players in and around him -

It's not my money so not fussed, the main question is does he improve our team/squad? And the answer is yes Plus Trippier crosses to Wood is potentially what keeps us up People go on about him scoring only 3 goals, I wonder if the reaction from those being negative about this would have been the same if we signed Toney? I mean the guy has 4 goals (2 of which were penalties) this season -
Newcastle United vs Watford: 15/01/22 @ 3pm (No UK TV)
Geordie Ahmed replied to 54's topic in Football
Not sure if it's been mentioned or even if it's relevant but at their place, we drew 1-1 and we were the better team and should have won. That was without Wilson and with Ritchie at left back -
Has there been official confirmation that there will be an Amazon documentary?

Badiashile is out for 6 weeks so that rules him out
-
The question is a bit off but he could easily just brush it off as "Yes, the Premier League is tough, we know this as there are no easy games" and then everyone moves on Instead he's reacted like a bellend I used to like Klopp and still a big fan of him as a manager/coach but as time has gone on I can't stand him, he's moaning about one thing or another
-
Maybe they don't want to just settle for "better than Clark", maybe they feel waiting a few weeks and getting a much better calibre of player is worth It seems risky but perhaps that's the approach they are going with
