Current one is the best but totally get that they'll likely change it to something a bit more simple
-
Can't they apply the same logic to our takeover? Nah, instead they'll write to Sting
-
Surely not? He's a massive lads fan, why would he work for another team that won't be as classy as them?

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Ancelotti to Brazil

Gerrard didn't get them promoted, I'm sure it was Warburton They had finished 3rd and then he was appointed, he finished 2nd two seasons in a row before winning the league -
It depends on what they are sponsoring, they can't just say we'll give £10m to the club it has to be for something. Though no doubt we can get creative with it Shirt sponsor is the obvious, sleeve sponsor too, training ground (though they'd be right to say that's worth shit), a stand, stadium, general sponsorship around the ground etc etc
-
We'd probably have to pay them to do that but I suspect they won't do anything mid-seasom, too much hassle from sorting kits out It's likely they'll be focusing on something for next season
-
Surely they won't be giving Amanda grief on her looks or a 16 year old girl, I mean they've spent weeks telling us they hate the Saudis because of how they treat women.
-
Yeah, it says they lost on penalties but they still got a point. What shitty tournament is this?
-
Long term I don't see it, almost 30 and keeps picking up injuries If we can get younger, better and fitter then that's what we should do
-
There was barely hell on when Ashley employed knackers like Kinnear, Pardew, Bruce even if we were underwhelmed at those appointments Howe under Ashley would have been a surprisingly smart move which is why it never happened They just don't like the fact that the overwhelming majority have welcomed him and we are happy at his appointment, anything we are happy with upsets them
-
No doubt Eddie Howe is shite, if he was so good why didn't any other club want him They'll make an argument for Lee Johnson being better than him and no doubt some will criticise him for having no morals and selling himself for oil money Another day of the coping mechanism for them
-
Long term I'd like to only see ASM and Willock at the club. However in the short/medium term a lot depends on what league we are in. For example in The Championship I'd stick with Hayden but in the PL we should get better
-
Mane will be kicking himself with that, should be hitting the target from there
-
Really good finish from Origi
-
Yeah, winning all 3 seems unlikely especially as the pressure will be huge 7 points wouldn't be too bad actually, plus maybe we get a surprise win/draw in December It is going to be incredibly difficult to stay up, we just need to be not too far adrift and also we need to make sure our transfers are done as early as possible. From middle of Jan until March those fixtures are the ones we need to target.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Agreed, wasn't effective going forward but that's more down to how we played (or didn’t) He grafted plenty in terms of defensive and when he did get the ball he was closely surrounded by 3-4 players -
I think Howe will get better out of him and agree, there are others that need binning Miggy was poor today but he at least grafted

The obvious solution is to get rid of Ole and get a manager that's capable of coaching his players, that has an understanding of tactics, that has an identity and can get players to buy into that. However they won't get rid of him, at least not yet, they've had plenty of opportunity to do that before and not taken it. Getting schooled of City isn't a shock, so why would this be the final straw? He'll probably get a result against Watford and Chelsea, his job secure but then mess up again, then rinse and repeat. What I will say is that he has done a good job overall, when you consider the situation the team were in. He has assembled a good squad, strengthening many areas but the improvements they made were due to his man management and individuals stepping up but that only gets you so far. Being mates with the players, especially after Mourinho was a prick to them works for a while but to compete at the top you need more about you, he doesn't have that and never will. Long may it continue cos I don't like Man-U because a good manager with a 1-2 additions can get this squad competing.

Mackems reckon they could get him -
Sancho coming on, guess he has no choice but to go for it Hopefully that just opens up the spaces more
-
You think they'll get rid on the back of this? I'm not so sure, getting schooled by City regardless of the result was inevitable
-
Not sure how that went in but get in (assuming it's not offside)
-
Yep, the longer De Gea keeps them in the game it seems inevitable City have created enough to at least be 2 up
-
Almost another OG De Gea keeping Man-U in the game

How on earth did Jesus not score there
