Agreed I've said it to a few people and they think I hate the guy but he gets the ball in so many promising situations but the end product is bang average
-
Wow, what a goal
-
Actually, never mind not a penalty
-
Looked a pen on first viewing that
-
Yeah that's harsh on Burnley for me And VAR with it's high threshold was never overturning it
-
At Burnley I've been impressed with the little I've seen of both Koleosho and Odobert Though both are very raw, with some development they could become good players
-
They've managed to create this narrative that all officials are out to get them, they do this by magnifying any decision that goes against them but wilfully ignoring all those that go in their favour The VAR/Officials fuck up with the goal at Spurs has worked out brilliant for them in the long term because I believe officials are subconsciously still factoring that into their decisions

Newcastle United 3-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers (02/03/24) | Reaction: pg 17

The first time I understood why they gave the ball back, was absolutely shocked they did it the second time -
Ridiculous as in good? If so, I agree Though I meant more the pass being the filth part, indifferent to the no look part
-
They aren't going down, too many teams between them and the bottom three Similarly they are not likely to come up either, gap between them and top 6 is growing and even if Hull have a mini wobble they are relying on 3 other clubs to do so as well They should never have sacked big Tony
-
Leicester are in poor form at the moment so they might actually get a result
-
He was quality today, love the way he drives with the ball Hopefully he can up to full fitness asap as we desperately need him for this run in
-
He was brilliant, that no look pass to Miggy was filth

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

Checking Fotmob and Feyenoord beat Groningen in the KNVB Cup Semi Final Minteh played the full 90 mins and was the highest rated player on the pitch, he also created the most chances (4) and completed the most dribbles (8) -
We are canny crap at stopping counters like
-
The rules are if it's stopping a promising attack but they give the advantage then no yellow card If it's a bad foul then ref should go back to book the player
-
Some ridiculous overreaction from some It's fine to say he was poor because he was but talk of sending him back or questioning the signing is absurd He's been injured for a long time so we need to be patient whilst he builds up his fitness

FAC R5: Blackburn Rovers (A): 27/02/24 @ DELAYED 20:00 (Live on BBC One)

Based on our luck this season I wouldn't get your hopes up about getting a home draw if we go through -
Games like yesterday really highlight we are lacking some technically elite players There were many moments where one of their CB's/CM's hit a pass with serious power to the likes of Odegaard and Saka and the ball basically stuck to their foot In a similar vein I recall Botman playing a pass with far less venom to Miggy and his touch had the ball go a good 3-4 yards away from him, same with Longstaff too I love what Howe has built with this squad/team, when everyone is fit physically we are more than a match but technically we are lacking and that has to be an obvious area we focus on when we make our next signings otherwise we'll not close that gap to the sides above

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

He still has developing to do. As tempting as it might be to keep him for next season I think long term another loan stint would do him wonders. Though, I guess a lot depends on what we do with the RW situation in the summer. I'd like us to sell Miggy, sign a RW and keep Murphy as the back up, let Minteh have another season on loan and then in 2025 keep him around to challenge for a starting spot.
