Most football fans grow up wanting to play for their local football team, to rise through the ranks and play with your boyhood club's first team and be successful. That's the ultimate dream. Your heroes and inspirations are often those who have a similar background to you who through hard work and dedication are now playing at an elite level with amazing players. It gives young boys and girls hope that they can do that one day. PSR completely ruins that dream because clubs and owners know that any young homegrown prospect have to be sold to enable more wiggle room in the transfer market. It's so shit that the likes of us with Elliot Anderson and Villa with a number of their youngsters have been developed from a young age only to then be sold for some backward rules that completely hinder what football is all about Just my take on it anyway
