I'll post this but I'm anticipating a lot of 'which manager/chairman's going to buy him' or ' we should have got him in January' posts http://www.leazesdigest.com/2009/07/23/finn-scouted-as-youngsters-continue-to-make-the-grade/

Some of their news, posted purely just to laugh at how far Sean Thornton has sunk down the football league ladder:. From .com:

WESLEY Ngo Baheng and Brad Inman were on target for Newcastle United's reserves in their 3-1 win over FA Vase winners Whitley Bay tonight. Inman struck twice and Baheng scored his second of pre-season to maintain Newcastle's winning start to the campaign at senior and reserve level, with the club having won all of its five warm-up fixtures. However, United's second string were made to work hard for their success at Hillheads in front of a bumper 1,075 crowd. Fraser Forster dived at Phil Bell's feet to stop what looked a certain goal in the 25th minute. Three minutes later Newcastle took advantage when Inman, played in by Sammy Ameobi, cleverly found himself space in the box to open the scoring. Bay goalkeeper Terry Burke denied Fabio Zamblera with a superb save in the 45th minute. The striker was again frustrated early in the second half, when Craig McFarlane stopped a shot of his on the line with a goal-saving lunge. But United's second wasn't long in coming, with Ngo Baheng striding upfield before rolling the ball past Burke with his left foot. Lee Kerr pulled a goal back for Whitley in the 73rd minute, seizing on a rebound from his own shot, with substitute goalkeeper Tim Krul unable to stop his effort rolling across the line. Inman scored the visitors' third in the 90th minute.

Thought this was going about Man Utd's goalkeepers, read it as VDS
-
Nice to see his keeping up his good form
-
No-one's actually trying to get past him, so him being a lollipop man isn't really helping
-
Bet he doesn't last two years

Most teams score 7 against Darlington in a pre-season friendly played on a Saturday. Just surprising they scored a couple in reply. Only if Sholagol plays for them. Stop trying to boast about your pathetic pre-season, we've ripped it up and yous know it. We're going to get so many points next year they'll carry some of them over. edit: and I notice you couldn't reply to the second part of my post Real Madrid have got like another 6 weeks before they start their league program, Newcastle start in less than 3 weeks, so I'm not surprised you're more advanced than Real tbh. They have an £80 million player, we have Ameobi
