Do you have to have two keepers on the bench in this tournament? Or has Tuchel left outfield players like Gibbs-White out on purpose
-
Won't somebody think of the Town Moor parkrun
-
Usually despise international breaks but this one has been class. Over 2 weeks to take it all in

We need Burnley not to get promoted to get Trafford at a good price imo
-
Does Paully own any garments that aren't garish
-
Not Didier Pardeschamps stinking out another France team surely
-
Anyone from the Champo we may look at? Trafford aside, thee two Burnley centre backs have earned good reviews and get linked to Prem clubs and are a good age Maxime Estève and Egan-Riley Borja Sainz may have been an option if he played on the right.

Honestly thought Leif Davis was about 20 not 25 so can scratch him off the list as he's looked really poor this season. Thought he may have been a Kerkez type signing where if you worked on his defensive play he'd be a good asset but we may not want to take that gamble at 25 (appreciate 25 isn't over the hill too)

From the 3 likely relegated teams anyone be of interest to us? Ipswich: Delap the obvious one but he's not going to come to be 2nd choice in my opinion. Would be a great squad option though for more games next season if we could convince him. The other 2 we may have an interest in would probably be Omari Hutchinson and Leif Davis just based on their profile and potential. Don't think either have looked much good this season Leicester: I think their keeper Hermansen looks good but imagine we've put all our eggs in the Trafford basket. Only other one that would fall into our potential criteria would be Bilal El Khannouss but he's not stood out to me albeit he's in a truly terrible team Southampton: Dibling the obvious one. Harwood Bellis has been mentioned and Walker Peters is always touted as a potential back up for both RB and LB. Matheus Fernandes another one with a profile that may interest us

I love him so much If TCD had his way he'd have been sold last summer.

Isn't that every player?

Definitely saw some arguing amongst our fans in the top tier of people standing blocking the views of those sitting. We were stood up the whole game and it made the atmosphere incredible. Pure emotion

Wish I could bottle up that atmosphere from Sunday and relive it all again. Absolutely amazing to be there

Some great photos here

The overriding feeling I found in the ground was "what do we do now?". We knew the pre made plans before the game, go to Covent Garden, enjoy the build up to the match. Some people had hope and blind optimism but I'm not convinced many thought we'd actually do it which made the spontaneous celebrations so much more better. If we'd have been playing Spurs or another club not as good as Liverpool the celebrations may have been able to be a bit more pre-planned if we felt we had a chance of winning it before the game. I don't know if other clubs sing it when they win the cup but the spontaneity of "Don't you know pump it up, Newcastle's won the cup" blaring around one half of Wembley will stay with me forever

I'm getting flashbacks to one of the forum's greatest ever threads here https://newcastle-online.org/topic/28272-ladsneed-your-help/

Feel like Laurent Robert should be in one of the teams but I couldn't leave out any of the attackers you've mentioned Think I'd still have Given over Pope
-
Not that I'm arsed about celebration police but I thought the non-Spurs fan here summed this up really well

There's a discussion to be had regarding our Saudi ownership and it's involvement in football But the way they constantly talk about how we've got blood on our hands and comfodrt themselves with that when their morals were nowhere to be seen when they had a fascist in charge beating us at SJP or a known paedophile playing for them 99 percent of them would snap your hands off if you offered them Adam Johnson to score the winner against 'the mags' next weekend

Really enjoyed Michael Walker's article about watching it in the city centre https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6209182/2025/03/17/newcastle-carabao-cup-supporters-city-centre-blyth/

Can't see Delap coming here to be second choice
-
He did one of his raking passes to Tino in the first half which looked incredible in the stadium Haven't seen it back yet but it was beautiful
-
Surely they'll be back from international duty by the 29th? If we hadn't lost to Brighton we'd have had a game that day
