Feels like the same story just a different club. Personal terms agreed but without a bid to match our valuation. Had a whole summer of it last year with journos trying to force us to accept a lower offer

There was only a handful of players we could target to replace Isak and every player either rejected us or their clubs hiked up the price We got more and more desperate and were willing to overpay on the likes of Wissa, Strand Larsen etc

Let's not forget Wissa was desperate to join us for months and look how that turned out

I think we have to be realistic in that good players are not going to exclusively say they want to join us and no one else. Most players will have plenty of other suitors and it's up to our staff to persuade them that we're the right club for them

I'm sure i read Alabi played centre back for our youth teams but a quick Google i might be mistaken and he might be a midfielder

Sam Alabi was on the bench for a first team game this season i think
