  1. He's 31 this month. I think that may be his whack like. Sure he's made a few bob though.
  2. NOt sure about January but a summer Stoke raid would be good. Tuncay, Etherington and Shawcross please.
  3. Aye, then 25 minutes later he got injured again. Im not even joking. Poor lad. It all looked so good for him when he was nailing Cheryl Tweedy. You what? Wasn't she with him before she moved on Dyer mkII? Think she was. Probably just to quell the accusations of racism.
  4. Still think he's pretty rubbish to be fair. Their midfield are making a lot of chances and Gera is also playing well. He's going to score if he stands in the 6 yard box.
  5. Good shout. Best sub in the world!! Andy Griffin. Best tackler in football.

  7. He used to be shit hot on an old CM, 2001/2002 maybe
  8. Was it presented by that fat annoying guy that does the visits to clubs in MOTD2?
  9. Ah I didn't know that. Must be because he's underrated Or he was turgid
  10. Its Saturday night, there should be enough lads throwing up in the road and lasses pissing in the gutter to melt the snow and ice.
  11. I don't think its bound by any particular constraints by the looks of things
  12. As long as you've seen one out it should be ok. They're not going to start until late night when the roads are quiet I wouldn't reckon...though maybe not this late.
  13. He was player manager at Pompy for a bit wasn't he? And maybe a manager at a lower league club.
  14. Hmm, I think he's fairly highly rated, isn't he? He gets the odd mention but nothing near enough credit he deserves I don't reckon. He's scored a good amount of goals and chipped in with a lot of assists consistenly over 3 years. Especially in a team like Fulham have been in recent seasons. He's probably been a major part in them staying up since he's been there. That never gets mentioned.
  15. I think within 1 year you should have seen some improvment, at least form thats been and gone and theres definite potential to be taken advantage of. But if a manager hasn't impacted 1 jot in a year then he's not the man for the job.
  16. Surely we wouldn't be naming a stand after Bobby for purely his success or there lack of. Its the way everybody felt about our tea when he was in charge, it was the way the players seemed more willing tobe accepted by us as members of their comunity, its the way he got them working so hard, and smiling and making us smile. After 2 years of a horrific fall from grace, and after being considered one of the most attractive teams to watched, loved by most other fans because of a philoosphy and then dropping in opinion as far as we did in 2 years, for hi to come here and win 8-0 in his first game then continue and exceed that level for 5.... We saw some excellent players in that time, some great partnerships, great things said about our club and city by the players, he took us to the highest level and to show off our culture and way of life (football) in some of the greatest venues in european football, he matched them getting players such as Andy Griffin to make players like Pavel Nedved to look average. OK, we won nothing, thats not a suprise, but the way he had this whole place light up for however many years because only of the an he was....thats why he'd deserve a stand!
  17. Always thought the lad could have been a class act for us. I remember he used to get berated on here! Those making the shouts for centre mid were 100% right. He was stunted at this club unfortunately, by the manager and a lot of the fans. Looks like he's enjoying football now, never really did here after his first year. Shame.
  18. I'd have the East stand named after him like. Sat there for years before I moved and it needs a bit of perking up. I understand all the arguements as to why not mind, especially the Harvey arguement. I reckon they should name a stand at Wembley after him. His footballing contribution should be represented in a stadium (other than just Prtman rd.) and then everyone in the country can say one of their stands is named after a true football legend. Fitting I reckon Also just found this page. It won't be great reading for those asking for his memory to be put to bed after only a few months like. But its nice to remember moments from people like that when sadly they aren't around to give the to you anymore! http://www.championshipmanager.co.uk/server/show/ConWebDoc.1038
  19. Not sure like, more for the fact I can't see him dropping 2 of the 3 strikers that have been playing well (Lover, Harewood & Ameobi). Unless he puts Lovenkrands on the right and Ameobi on his own up top (couldn't play Harewood up his own. Think Lovenkrands would have a break down if that happens though.
  20. i dont post on here very often, but im so astounded, i need to ask...... Lua Lua?? Please explain. Why not? He's surely just as big or little a gamble as Raylor or Pancrate. All Raylor is KNOWN to have over than him is a free kick, its not like his crossing in open play is owt to shout about. Young lad, Derby(ish) game, been playing well in the reserves, really wanting to start as well, itching. All 3 would be justified but Lua Lua has to be an equal consideration I reckon.
  21. kind of, but not at all..... Who was it that Ginola turned to fire that in? Better quality of defender than whoever the Watford defender was no doubt.
